Ketamine Therapy for Awakenings | Eva Altobelli, MD

In this episode, I sit down with Dr. Eva Altobelli, a psychiatrist who uses ketamine-assisted therapy to help people heal from depression and expand their awareness. We explore the concept of awakenings, how career and life shifts can spark profound changes, and why much of what we react to in life isn’t based on our lived experience. Dr. Altobelli shares how ketamine can help even the most structured-minded individuals open their consciousness and see the world in a completely new way. We also dive into practical insights for entrepreneurs and overthinkers on how to stay grounded, reconnect with your own experience, and navigate the pressures of modern life. If you’ve ever felt stuck, overwhelmed by comparison, or ready for a shift in perspective, this conversation will inspire you to reclaim your mental space, let go of what no longer serves you, and step into your next chapter with clarity. You’ll hear how ketamine-assisted therapy can support mental wellness, including depression and ADHD, and why recognizing the difference between reacting to life and experiencing it firsthand can be transformative. This episode is for anyone seeking greater clarity, perspective, and personal growth. From Surgery to Helping Founders Raise Startup Funds | Sabrina Runbeck, PA-C

Do degrees and credibility guarantee success in business? The short answer is no. This week, I spoke with Sabrina Runbeck, PA-C, a cardiovascular, thoracic, and transplant surgery physician associate who transformed her career into a mission-driven path as a venture partner, strategic advisor, and human capital architect. She is also a TEDx speaker. Sabrina started by helping clinicians find confidence, courage, and purpose beyond the bedside. Over time, she began connecting health tech founders with investors, helping them gain visibility, credibility, and capital to grow sustainably. We also dive into the realities of healthcare entrepreneurship. Starting a business is costly, time-consuming, and risky. Sabrina helps founders and investors identify viable business models so they can grow without becoming full-time founders. For those ready to do the work, she guides them in getting in front of purposeful investors and telling a story that truly resonates. One big insight from our conversation: credibility alone is not enough. Degrees may open doors, but visibility drives opportunities and impact. - - - Sabrina Runbeck, PA-C LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/sabrinarunbeck - - - Bianca Ariel, MBA LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/biancaarielmba - - - Disclaimer: Although the guest featured in this episode is a licensed physician, the discussion is intended for informational and entertainment purposes only and should not be considered medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. 3. How I Turned My Debt into Wealth | Camille Upchurch, MD

How I Turned My Debt into Wealth | Camille Upchurch, MD

In this episode, we have an honest conversation about money with Dr. Camille Upchurch. Every day we hear from money coaches, gurus, and society at large that success means more money. We are told to chase better jobs, start businesses, and find ways to increase our income. What often gets missed in the conversation is that we cannot truly build wealth until we get out of debt. Dr. Camille knows this firsthand. Like many physicians, she left training with six figures of student loan debt. While most of her peers focused on earning more, she went in search of books on money, debt management, and finance. She was determined not to repeat the generational patterns she witnessed growing up, where money was a constant source of stress. Through self-education and discipline, she paid off her debt, impressed her financial advisor, and even began teaching others what she had learned. She went on to lead classes for Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University, but she noticed a gap. The narrative suggested physicians were not smart with money, when in reality they simply needed a plan and support to break free from debt and shame. Today, Dr. Camille uses her personal experience and expertise to help physicians and other high-earning professionals get out of debt, start investing, and finally build the wealth they have been working so hard for. I hope this episode serves as both inspiration and a practical resource for your own journey. Enjoy. - - - Camille Upchurch, MD LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/camille-upchurch-md-78570296/ - - - Bianca Ariel, MBA LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/biancaarielmba/ - - - Disclaimer: Although the guest featured in this episode is a licensed physician, the discussion is intended for informational and entertainment purposes only and should not be considered medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. How I Can Became a Travel Doctor | Xunda Gibson, MD

In this episode, I sit down with Xunda Gibson, MD who truly did it all. Like many physicians I meet, she dreamed of owning her own practice, and she made it happen for decades. Her mission was simple: to create an environment where patients received the care they truly deserved. She succeeded in bringing that vision to life, pouring her heart, soul, sweat, and tears into running her practice for many years. We talk about the highs and challenges of building and sustaining a practice, serving patients, running ads, staying engaged in the community, and doing everything possible to keep the doors open. Eventually, after a difficult conversation with her bookkeeper, she realized it was time to let go. The hardest part was not just closing the practice, it was saying goodbye to the patients, team, and family she had built along the way. But her story did not end there. On a temporary assignment overseas, Dr. Gibson discovered what healthcare could truly look like, with time and energy given to patients, real support among clinicians, and the space for her soul to feel refreshed in medicine again. That experience opened her eyes to a new path in travel medicine. As she continued assignments abroad, she was often asked, “How did you get here? How can I do this too?” Inspired by those questions, she built a business teaching other physicians how to become travel doctors. In this conversation, we dive into her journey from building and closing her practice to finally finding the freedom she had been seeking all along. I hope you enjoy this episode. - - - Xunda Gibson, MD LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/xunda-gibson-md-8123639/ - - - Bianca Ariel, MBA LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/biancaarielmba/ - - - Disclaimer: Although the guest featured in this episode is a licensed physician, the discussion is intended for informational and entertainment purposes only and should not be considered medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. From Navy Caption to OBGYN to C-Suite | Kelly Elmore, MD

Dr. Kelly Elmore is the definition of a high performer and high achiever. Ever since she was six years old, she knew she wanted to become an OBGYN. She held on to that vision with unwavering belief and never let her circumstances or environment tell her otherwise. That kind of conviction is rare, and it was so powerful to hear how she stayed rooted in who she is, whose she is, and the support systems that helped her along the way. What really stood out to me in this conversation is that behind all of her success there has always been a commitment to doing the internal work. Yes, she has leaned on therapists, mentors, and coaches, but she has also relied on faith, prayer, and mindset to attract the people and opportunities that aligned with her purpose. From serving in the military and working her way up to captain, to building a successful career as an OBGYN, and then learning how to navigate her way into the C-suite, she shows what is possible when you refuse to let go of your dream. In our conversation, we also dive into some practical insights including: - How to leverage your network to transition into leadership - How to find conviction and clarity in your own path - How to rediscover who you are beyond your career - What she sees broken in the healthcare system and how she is working to make an impact I walked away inspired by her journey from career to calling, and I believe you will too. - - - - - - Kelly Elmore, MD LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/drkellyomd/ - - - Bianca Ariel, MBA LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/biancaarielmba/ - - - Disclaimer: Although the guest featured in this episode is a licensed physician, the discussion is intended for informational and entertainment purposes only and should not be considered medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
