    No One Is Too Far Gone From God’s Mercy | Book of Jonah Study

    Send us Fan Mail Have you ever looked at someone who seems so far from God and wondered, “Will they ever believe? Are they too far gone?” In this episode of The Anointed Life, we study the Book of Jonah and a powerful truth: No one is too far gone from God’s mercy. Jonah’s story shows us just how great the compassion, mercy, and grace of God truly are. The sailors who were crying out to other gods came to fear the true God. The people of Nineveh humbled themselves and repented. And even when Jonah struggled with God showing mercy to people he believed deserved judgment, God reminded him of His compassion for the lost. We also look at the Prodigal Son and the father who ran to welcome his lost son home. God’s compassion, mercy, and grace are greater than we can fathom. We did not earn His mercy, yet He gave it to us. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. And if God has shown us such incredible grace, we should extend that same grace and compassion to others. Second Peter 3:9 reminds us that God is patient, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance. So who have you stopped praying for? Who have you quietly decided will never change? Don’t give up on them. Jesus gave us the Great Commission to go and make disciples. There are people around us who desperately need to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. Pray for the lost. Share your testimony. Share the Gospel. Invite someone to church. Open the Bible with them. Tell someone about Jesus. Don’t measure your obedience by their immediate response. Conviction comes from the Holy Spirit. Our responsibility is to go and faithfully proclaim the Gospel. We cannot decide for someone else that they will never believe. We cannot disqualify someone from hearing about Jesus because we think they are too far gone. The harvest is plentiful. Let us be faithful laborers. Go. Make disciples. Spread the Gospel. Tell someone about Jesus.     4 Signs You’re Not Yet a Mature Christian | Growing From Spiritual Infancy to Maturity

    Send us Fan Mail What does it really mean to be a Christian? In a culture where Christianity can become attached to personalities, politics, celebrities, social media, and even personal preferences, we need to return to the only standard that truly matters: Jesus Christ and the Word of God. In this episode of The Anointed Life, we open our Bibles and examine what Scripture teaches about spiritual maturity. We’ll talk about four signs that a believer may not yet be mature in the faith: • The carnal or worldly Christian • The lukewarm Christian • The defeated Christian • The compromised Christian But this message is not about condemnation. Spiritual maturity does not happen overnight. Sanctification is a process, and I share parts of my own journey—from seasons of being worldly, lukewarm, and unsure of my identity in Christ to learning what it means to surrender more and more of my life to Jesus. We also examine the biblical marks of a maturing follower of Christ: a hunger for the Word of God, denying the flesh, sensitivity to the conviction of the Holy Spirit, living by the Spirit, making prayer our first response, and knowing our identity, purpose, authority, and victory in Jesus. Christianity is not a brand. It is not a trend. And our faith should never be defined by a celebrity, influencer, political figure, pastor, or anyone else. We follow Jesus. The question for each of us is: **Am I growing? Am I surrendering?     Are You Ready to Lose Your Life for Jesus? | The Cost of Following Christ

    Send us Fan Mail Are you ready to lose your life for Jesus? It’s an uncomfortable question—but it’s one every follower of Christ should be willing to ask. Around the world, more than 388 million Christians face high levels of persecution and discrimination because of their faith. In places like North Korea, Somalia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Iran, China, and other nations, following Jesus can mean rejection, imprisonment, violence, or even death. Yet for many of us who have the freedom to worship, read our Bibles, and openly speak the name of Jesus, the greater danger may be complacency. In this episode of The Anointed Life, Blanche challenges believers to examine what it truly means to follow Christ. Paul declared in Philippians 1:21, “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” That wasn't simply a beautiful statement—it reflected a life completely surrendered to Jesus. Jesus Himself warned us that discipleship would come at a cost: Deny yourself. Take up your cross. Follow Me. So what happens when following Jesus costs us our comfort? Our reputation? Our relationships? Our freedom? What if one day it costs us our very lives? In this episode, we explore: • The reality of Christian persecution around the world • What “to live is Christ and to die is gain” truly means • Why our citizenship in heaven changes the way we view death • Jesus' warning about persecution and the coming birth pains • The cost of denying ourselves and carrying our cross • Why fear of people should never silence the truth of God's Word • How Peter and John responded when they were threatened for preaching Jesus • Why biblical boldness comes through the Holy Spirit—not our own strength • How Christians can stand firm and speak the truth in love, even when it is unpopular In Acts 4, when Peter and John were threatened and commanded to stop speaking about Jesus, they didn't pray for an easier life. They prayed for boldness. And after they prayed, they were filled with the Holy Spirit and continued speaking the Word of God boldly. That same Holy Spirit empowers believers today. Following Jesus was never promised to be easy. Jesus told us to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him. He warned that His followers would face hatred and persecution—and He called us to remain faithful to the end. So ask yourself: Am I ready to lose my reputation for Jesus? Am I willing to be rejected for Jesus? Am I willing to speak when the world tells me to be silent? And ultimately… am I ready to lose my life for Jesus? This is not a message meant to produce fear. It is a call to boldness, surrender, perseverance, and wholehearted discipleship. We don't stand in our own strength. “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the LORD of hosts.” — Zechariah 4:6 If this episode challenges or encourages you, share it with another believer.     Being Led by the Holy Spirit: Surrender, Not Striving

    Send us Fan Mail Why do Christians still struggle with sin, temptation, old habits, anger, unforgiveness, and the desires of the flesh—even after giving their lives to Jesus? And what does it actually mean to be **led by the Holy Spirit**? In this episode of **The Anointed Life**, Blanche walks through Romans 8, John 14–15, Acts 1, and Galatians 5 to examine what Scripture teaches about living according to the Spirit rather than according to the flesh. Romans 8:14 tells us: **“For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.”** The Christian life was never meant to be lived through willpower alone. When we belong to Christ, the Holy Spirit dwells within us. He is our Helper, Advocate, Teacher, and the One who empowers us to put to death the desires of the flesh and walk in obedience to God. In this episode, we talk about: • What it means to live according to the flesh vs. the Spirit • Who the Holy Spirit is and why Jesus promised Him to His followers • Why salvation should produce transformation in our lives • The works of the flesh vs. the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5 • Why simply calling ourselves “Christian” is not the same as walking with Christ • Why trying harder in our own strength is not the answer • The importance of surrendering control to God • How the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness • How believers can practically begin living a Spirit-led life The key is **surrender, not striving**. Instead of saying, “I’ll try harder,” we can come before God and say: **“Lord, I surrender. Holy Spirit, lead my life. I don't want to live according to my flesh. I want to live according to Your will.”** We cannot transform ourselves through our own strength.     Jesus Was Tempted, and So Will You

    Send us Fan Mail Jesus was tempted by Satan—and if you follow Jesus, you should expect temptation too. But temptation does not mean you have to live defeated. In Matthew 4:1–11, Jesus shows us how to recognize the enemy’s tactics, answer deception with the Word of God, and stand firm when temptation comes. In this Bible study, we examine the three temptations of Jesus through a simple framework: 1. DESIRE — What do you want? After Jesus fasted for 40 days and 40 nights, Satan targeted His physical hunger: “Command that these stones become bread.” Jesus answered with Deuteronomy 8:3: “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” The enemy often targets us when our flesh is screaming the loudest. But Jesus shows us that our physical desires do not have to control us. We need the nourishment of God's Word. 2. IDENTITY — Who are you? Twice Satan challenged Jesus with the words: “If You are the Son of God...” Satan attacked Jesus' identity while also twisting Scripture, even quoting Psalm 91:11 during the second temptation. But Jesus knew exactly who He was and why He had come. He did not need to prove His identity to Satan. This is why believers must know who we are in Christ and know the Bible for ourselves. Satan can twist Scripture, which makes biblical discernment essential. Jesus responded with Deuteronomy 6:16: “You shall not tempt the Lord your God.” 3. WORSHIP — Who will you serve? Finally, Satan revealed what he ultimately wanted: worship. He offered Jesus the kingdoms of the world if Jesus would bow down before him. Jesus responded: “Away with you, Satan!” Then He declared the truth of God's Word from Deuteronomy 6:13 and 10:20: worship and service belong to God alone. Desire. Identity. Worship. The temptations looked different, but Jesus' foundation never changed: IT IS WRITTEN. Jesus did not negotiate with Satan. He stood on the truth of God's Word.     From the Mosque to the Cross: When Jesus Leaves the 99 for the One

    Send us Fan Mail What happens when Jesus goes after the one who isn't even looking for Him? Aboss Khan spent the first 21 years of his life as a Muslim. When he finally walked away from Islam, he didn't turn to Christianity—he became an atheist and remained one for approximately ten years. But Jesus wasn't finished with his story. During one of the lowest seasons of Aboss's life, an unexpected encounter introduced him to a kind of grace he hadn't experienced before. What followed was a journey through forgiveness, Scripture, an encounter with the Holy Spirit, and ultimately surrender to Jesus Christ. In this powerful conversation, Aboss shares the story behind his book, From the Mosque to the Cross: Finding True Peace in Jesus—including the cost of leaving Islam, his journey through atheism, his baptism, and how God is now using his testimony to reach other Muslims and former Muslims.     The Gifts of the Holy Spirit | Power Must Operate in Love

    Send us Fan Mail What are the gifts of the Holy Spirit—and why does God give them? In Episode 3 of our Gifts of the Holy Spirit series, we dive into 1 Corinthians 12 and 13 to study what Paul describes as the manifestations of the Spirit. These gifts are not natural talents, human abilities, or something we can manufacture. They are given by the Holy Spirit according to His will, not for our personal recognition or status, but for the common good and the building up of the Body of Christ. In this episode, we explore the nine manifestation gifts found in 1 Corinthians 12: Revelation Gifts • Word of Wisdom • Word of Knowledge • Discerning of Spirits Power Gifts • Faith • Gifts of Healings • Working of Miracles Speaking Gifts • Prophecy • Different Kinds of Tongues • Interpretation of Tongues We also talk about the important distinction between natural talents and spiritual gifts, why we cannot manufacture the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit, and why no believer should compare their gift or calling with someone else's. But Paul doesn't stop with the gifts. He takes us directly into 1 Corinthians 13—love. You can be incredibly gifted and still be spiritually immature. Gifts without love become noise. The purpose of spiritual gifts is never self-promotion, status, or recognition—it is to love people, serve the Church, glorify Jesus, and advance His Kingdom. And this episode became unexpectedly personal as we looked at Jesus asking Peter: “Do you love Me?” “Feed My sheep.” That is the heart of this message.
