Romans 12: The Ministry Gifts | How God Shapes You to Serve

Send us Fan Mail Romans 12: The Ministry Gifts | How God Shapes You to Serve Before God uses our gifts, He first transforms our hearts. In Episode 2 of our Gifts of the Holy Spirit series, we dive into Romans 12:1–8 to discover why the Apostle Paul begins with surrender, renewed minds, and humility before introducing the ministry gifts. This reminds us that spiritual gifts are never about status or self-promotion—they are expressions of God's grace, given to equip believers to serve the Body of Christ. Together, we'll explore the seven ministry gifts found in Romans 12: ProphecyServing (Ministry)TeachingEncouragement (Exhortation)GivingLeadershipMercyWe'll also discuss why no spiritual gift can be bought or sold, using the account of Simon the Sorcerer (Acts 8) as a biblical warning against commercializing the work of the Holy Spirit. Most importantly, we'll learn that every genuine spiritual gift points people to Jesus Christ, never to ourselves. Whether your calling is visible or behind the scenes, every believer has a unique role in God's Kingdom. The gifts are not our identity—they are tools the Holy Spirit graciously gives us to glorify Christ, strengthen His Church, and serve others with humility and love. Who Is the Holy Spirit? | Our Advocate and Gift Giver

Send us Fan Mail In this first episode of our new series "The Gifts of the Holy Spirit", we return to the Word of God to answer one of the most important questions every believer should ask: Who is the Holy Spirit? Before we talk about the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we must first know the Gift Giver. Together, we'll explore what Jesus taught about the Holy Spirit, why He promised to send the Advocate, and why every follower of Christ needs the Holy Spirit's presence and power today. We'll discover that the Holy Spirit is not merely a force or feeling—He is God, our Helper, Comforter, Teacher, Advocate, and the One who empowers believers to fulfill God's mission. In this episode, we cover:  Who the Holy Spirit is according to Scripture  Why Jesus said it was better for Him to leave  The promise of the Father and the Day of Pentecost  The ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of every believer  The difference between the indwelling, filling, and baptism of the Holy Spirit  Why God gives spiritual gifts to build up the Body of Christ At the end of this episode, I share the Gospel through the Romans Road to Salvation and invite anyone who has never trusted in Jesus Christ to receive Him as Lord and Savior. This series is not about chasing experiences—it is about knowing the Holy Spirit, growing in biblical truth, and being empowered to glorify Jesus and serve His Church. You Don’t Need a Title to Serve God | Every Believer Has a Role

Send us Fan Mail Many believers think that if they are not preaching, leading worship, or part of a formal ministry, then they are not being used by God. But that is a lie. The truth is—every believer has a role. Drawing from Romans 12 and 1 Corinthians 12, this episode unpacks what it means to be part of the Body of Christ and how each person, no matter how unseen or overlooked, has a unique function. Just like the human body has many parts, each with a purpose, every believer is needed. Through personal stories, biblical examples like Gideon and David, and a powerful testimony of a woman who faithfully served through prayer and generosity, this episode reminds us that God is not looking for the most qualified—He is looking for yielded vessels. Blanche shares her own journey of stepping out in obedience despite fear, emphasizing that it is the Holy Spirit who empowers us—not our own ability. Serving God is not about position—it’s about posture. Not about platform—but availability. If you’ve ever felt like you don’t have enough to offer, or questioned your place in the Kingdom, this episode will remind you: You are needed. You have a role. And God can use you right where you are. “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!" Isaiah 6:8 NIV This is the posture God responds to. 🎧 Stay tuned as this episode leads into the next series on the Gifts of the Holy Spirit—where we will explore how the Holy Spirit equips every believer for the common good. The Armor of God: How to Stand Firm in Spiritual Battle | Spiritual Warfare Series Part 2

Send us Fan Mail ⚔️ The battle is real—but God never sends His people into battle unarmed. In Part 2 of our Spiritual Warfare Series, we dive deep into one of the most powerful and practical passages in Scripture: The Armor of God (Ephesians 6:13-18). Last episode, we learned about the reality of spiritual warfare and exposed the enemy's tactics. Today, we discover God's provision for every believer to stand firm against deception, fear, temptation, accusation, and spiritual attacks. In this episode, we discuss: ⚔️ The Belt of Truth – Why God's Word is your foundation and protection against deception ⚔️ The Breastplate of Righteousness – How obedience and holiness guard your heart ⚔️ The Shoes of the Gospel of Peace – Why peace is your footing in spiritual battle ⚔️ The Shield of Faith – How faith extinguishes the enemy's fiery darts ⚔️ The Helmet of Salvation – Protecting your mind through your identity in Christ ⚔️ The Sword of the Spirit – Using God's Word as your spiritual weapon ⚔️ Prayer – The often-forgotten weapon that strengthens and sustains every believer Most importantly, we are reminded that spiritual warfare is not about fear—it's about standing in the victory Christ has already won. Colossians 2:15 tells us that Jesus disarmed principalities and powers and triumphed over them through the cross. Because of Christ's finished work, believers do not fight for victory—we fight from victory. The enemy's goal is not necessarily to destroy your faith overnight. His goal is to get you to lay down your armor one piece at a time. But through Jesus Christ, God has already provided everything you need to stand firm. 📖 Key Scriptures: Ephesians 6:13-18 Colossians 2:15 Romans 8:26 Matthew 4:1-11 James 4:7 If this episode encourages you, please share it with a friend, subscribe, and join us as we continue our Spiritual Warfare Series. The battle is real. The enemy is real. But Jesus Christ is greater. He has already won the victory. Teaching Acknowledgment: Portions of this episode were informed by the biblical teachings of Derek Prince, particularly insights from his book Spiritual Warfare: Headquarters in the Heavenlies. While all teaching in this episode is grounded in Scripture, I am grateful for faithful Bible teachers whose ministry has helped believers understand spiritual warfare through a biblical lens.

Spiritual Warfare 101: Knowing the Battle and Knowing the Enemy

Send us Fan Mail Spiritual warfare is not something reserved for pastors, missionaries, or mature Christians. Every believer is engaged in a spiritual battle whether they realize it or not. In this first episode of our Spiritual Warfare series, we lay a biblical foundation by answering two critical questions: What is spiritual warfare? Who is our enemy? Together, we'll explore what Scripture teaches about the unseen battle taking place around us, the nature and tactics of Satan, and how believers can recognize and respond to spiritual attacks with wisdom and discernment. In this episode, we discuss: ⚔️ What spiritual warfare is according to Ephesians 6 and 2 Corinthians 10 ⚔️ Who Satan is and what the Bible reveals about his fall ⚔️ His tactics: deception, accusation, isolation, division, distraction, and temptation ⚔️ Common signs of spiritual attack and how to discern them biblically ⚔️ The weapons God has given believers to stand firm in the battle ⚔️ Why victory begins with submission to God and dependence on Christ Most importantly, this episode reminds us that spiritual warfare is not about fear—it is about faith. As believers, we do not fight for victory; we fight from the victory that Jesus Christ has already won through His death and resurrection. Key Scriptures: Ephesians 6:10-18 2 Corinthians 10:4 Genesis 3 John 8:44 Revelation 12:10-11 James 4:7 Psalm 149:6-9 If this episode encourages you, please share it with a friend, leave a review, and subscribe so you don't miss the next episode as we dive deeper into The Armor of God: How to Stand Firm in Spiritual Battle. From Religious Confusion to Biblical Truth | Reed's Faith Journey

Send us Fan Mail A powerful Christian testimony about deconstructing religion, rebuilding in biblical truth, studying Scripture, and developing a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. What if asking difficult questions about your faith didn't lead you away from Jesus—but deeper into His truth? In this episode of The Anointed Life with Coach Blanche, I sit down with Reed, author, speaker, Bible teacher, and founder of Davek Le'lohim, to discuss his remarkable journey from religious confusion to biblical conviction. Raised between an Irish Catholic mother and an atheist father with an Armenian Orthodox background, Reed spent much of his early life going through the motions of religion without truly understanding the gospel. Frustrated by unanswered questions and searching for truth, he eventually walked away from church—not because he rejected God, but because he longed to know Him. Years later, in the middle of a season marked by debt, stress, and uncertainty, Reed encountered Jesus in a life-changing way. During a church service, he sensed God asking: "Are you ready to try it My way?" That moment of surrender transformed everything. In this conversation, we discuss: ✅ Reed's salvation story and encounter with Jesus ✅ Growing up religious but spiritually confused ✅ Learning to study Scripture for himself ✅ Why he began studying Hebrew and Greek ✅ The difference between deconstructing faith and abandoning faith ✅ How asking hard questions strengthened his relationship with God ✅ The role of the Holy Spirit in understanding Scripture ✅ The Kingdom of God and biblical discipleship ✅ Moving from confusion to confidence in God's Word ✅ Raising a family while pursuing truth and spiritual growth We also discuss the importance of allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us into truth through God's Word, referencing: John 14:26 1 Corinthians 2:13 1 John 2:27 The episode concludes with a powerful reminder from The Second Epistle to Timothy 3:16–17 that all Scripture is God-breathed and equips believers for every good work. If you've ever wrestled with church traditions, struggled with unanswered questions, or desired a deeper understanding of the Bible, this conversation will encourage you to seek God wholeheartedly and build your faith on a foundation rooted in truth.
