    Down memory lane: Christmas Time meant more clothes and luxuries

    In this reading, I relate the blog post I wrote in Dec 2012, where I reflected on how our parents tried to give us a lovely Christmas holiday by saving money throughout the year. I also reflect on why we need to revisit our attitude towards the poor who often get caught in debt traps because of easy access to credit.
