    Knights get blasted out of Houston and now head to Cincy to see if they can get back on track (E61)

    If you thought Iowa State was bad, Houston said watch this.  Our Knights could not find shooting for the 3rd time this year on the road and could only manage 19 points in the first half.  While not quite 30 points, it was a very bad display of basketball and to be considered a tournament team we need to limit these blowouts for loses.  The Lady Knights also fell at home to Utah and with more top teams in conference to face, it could be a painful stretch for them.  The Knights were not the only ones struggling as I did not do well on my picks with one upset no one would see coming.  I give you my take on the games for this weekend and what I expect over the Knights next 5 games.  Softball is underway hosting a tournament this weekend and excited to see if they can make another playoff run this year.  And of course, I give you my pick for the Super Bowl.  Another great weekend of sports as football season will come to a close Sunday night.

    The Knights "Blast" 11th Ranked Texas Tech at Saturday's Space Game (E60)

    Our Men's Basketball team gets its 2nd victory versus a ranked opponent at home during Saturday's Space Game.  Even with injuries and sickness of some players, Coach Dawkins had a great game plan, and they played more physical than the visiting Red Raiders to earn an 88-80 win to move to 6-3 in conference play.  The sit in 5th place as we head to face another ranked opponent, this time on the road in Houston.  Can the Knights pull off another victory to make it 4 in a row?  Meanwhile the Lady Knights fall in Ames to Iowa State and sit below the .500 mark for the first time this season.  It is not looking good for their chances to have a winning season.  Kansas takes down two ranked conference foes in 3 days and is showing that they may contend for a BIG 12 title.  I let you know how I did on my picks and what my predictions are heading into this week's matchups.  Also, should our Knights be ranked in the Top 25, and is a snub not to be.  I give you my take and last, we talk about this crazy weather we have seen the past few days in Central Florida.  Ready to see how our Knights fare in the game tonight and no matter the outcome, Go Knights, Charge On!

    Cardiac Knights rally to take down Arizona State and now have 2 Top #11 teams to face (E59)

    Our Knights are back to making us sweat out victories, but when we are getting wins, we will take it.  Johnny and the team knock off another Duke alum, Bobby Hurley and his Arizona State team on Tuesday.  We will now welcome in #11 Texas Tech at high Noon on Saturday.  Do the Knights have enough to get a huge statement win at home.  The Lady Knights head to Ames to take on Iowa State and need to show much improvement if they want a chance at a successful end of the season.  We also had some more great BIG 12 match ups this week with more to come this weekend.  I share how I did this week and what my expectations are for the games around the conference.  Last thing was I touched on the Football presser from Thursday.  Sounds like the staff is excited about the roster and ready to get moving towards Spring Practice.

    UCF Men's Hoops gets another road victory, and we have a Super Bowl rematch (E58)

    The UCF Knights secure another BIG 12 road win in Boulder on Saturday versus Colorado.  Now they head back home Tuesday to host Arizona State before facing two Top 12 teams from our conference.  The Lady Knights fell to #9 TCU on Saturday and home, losing by 17 points.  While it was not a close contest, the team outscored them in the second half and showed some positive attributes.  They will have the mid-week bye before they go on the road to face Iowa State on Saturday.  Can they improve enough to win 5 of the last 9 games to finish above .500?  We run down the Saturday games in the BIG 12 and what to expect in this week's match ups.  I also talk about my take on the 2026 UCF Football Schedule.  While I did not get into great detail, I do talk about some pros and cons I see for the fall.  Lastly, a recap of Sunday's AFC and NFC championship games and who is representing each division in this year's Super Bowl.

    Can UCF Men's and Women's Basketball Teams "Bounce" back from road blowouts? (E57)

    Both the Men and Women's basketball teams struggled with the mid-week road games, losing them in blowouts.  While both the home teams were ranked, we come to expect our Knights to put up a better challenge.  The Men are on the road to Colorado for a much-needed road victory, while the Ladies host #9 TCU at Addition Financial.  I give you my thoughts on the games and what I expect this weekend.  As always, we see how I did on my picks and then give predictions for the slate of games this weekend.  We are a third of the way in conference and both need to show improvement in the middle half of the schedule.  I will cover the AFC and NFC Championship games for Sunday and give you my picks to make it to the Super Bowl.  Even with a long episode, I will share a story I have been sitting on for a few weeks.  So much to cover every time I write an episode, so squeezing it in on this one.  Hope you enjoy the content, and as always, Go Knights, Charge On!

    Men's Basketball falls to #1 Arizona while the Lady Knights win the Space Game (E56)

    A tough loss in front of a sellout crowd for the Men's Basketball team.  Knights battled to within 2 a few times in the 2nd half but could not overcome critical misses and mistakes down the stretch.  They head to Ames to take on the Cyclones who have lost 2 in a row.  The Lady Knights defeat Colorado in the Space Game and now will face 2 ranked opponents.  I touch the other games in the Big 12, with more predictions for this week.  NFL divisional games were also played this weekend.  I give you my results and my take on the catch/interception.  Finally, the CPF championship was last night, and Indiana capped off a perfect season.  So many things going on over the 3-day weekend.  I hope everyone had a relaxing one as I was up both nights with ten 16-year-olds enjoying celebrating birthdays.

    Big Road Win for Men's Basketball as they are set to host #1 Arizona Wildcats Saturday (E55)

    Great victory for the Knights in Manhattan as proving you can win on the road in the Big 12 is a must.  However, the Women fell to Cincy in Overtime and have one more home game Sunday versus Colorado before facing 3 ranked conference foes.  The Men will host #1 Arizona, who is 17-0 this season, at Addition Financial this Saturday.  Tip is set for 4pm on ESPN.  Many ranked teams, and undefeated teams fell this week as we begin the 3rd week of conference play.  I go through how I did on my picks this week and also give you my thoughts on this week's Big 12 slate.  Listen and see if I have our Knights knocking off the Wildcats, and what my prediction was for NFL Playoffs and CFP National Title Game.  Portal window is closing and Coach Frost and the football team did well in some positions but will still need to assess anyone left that can fill a void, including the February high school signing day.  Another great weekend of games and off on Monday.  Have a great weekend and as always, Go Knights, Charge On!

    Basketball Sweeps the Weekend and more Additions and Subtractions to UCF Football (E54)

    Great job by both the Men's and Women's Basketball teams over the weekend.  The Lady Knights get their first conference win on the road at Arizona, and the Men edge out Cincy at home.  However, the Knights fall out of the Top 25, but I discuss my thoughts on how far they fell.  We take a look at how my picks did from over the weekend, and I was more successful than normal.  I also cover the BIG XII games during the week, along with my predictions.  In the NFL, I also did well and touch on who won and what the matchups are for this weekend.  I am holding off predictions for Friday's show, select my Big 12 predictions, and who I think will win it all in Miami Monday night.
