Best credit card to earn kris flyer miles in India

Best credit card to earn kris flyer miles in India KrisFlyer is a frequent flyer program by Singapore airlines. Singapore Airlines has tied up with various card issuers so that the Reward Points earned on partner card issuer’s credit cards can be converted into KrisFlyer Miles. KrisFlyer Miles can be redeemed on Singapore Airlines’ own services and partner airlines which include all Star Alliance members, Virgin Australia, Virgin Atlantic, and a number of hotel chains and car-hire companies. Singapore Airlines’ partner card issuers in India include HDFC Bank, Citi Bank, American Express and HSBC Bank.  To know more about best credit cards for earning kris flyer miles, visit:  https://www.slideserve.com/kartik7/best-credit-cards-to-earn-krisflyer-miles-in-india2 In this article, we’ve covered those credit cards by these card issuers that offer some of the highest reward rates on conversion of Reward Points into KrisFlyer Miles. 1. HDFC Bank INFINIA Credit Card Metal Edition Infinia Credit Card earns you 5 Reward Points for every Rs. 150 spent which can be converted into AirMiles via net banking on one of partner airlines’ loyalty programs. Since Singapore Airlines is one of HDFC’s partners, you can convert the Reward Points earned on your HDFC Infinia Credit Card into KrisFlyer Miles. 100 Reward Points = 100 KrisFlyer Miles (1:1 conversion ratio), making the effective reward rate of HDFC Infinia Credit Card 3.3% (if Reward Points are redeemed against Air Miles). 2. HDFC Bank Diners Club Black Credit Card The Diners Club Black Credit Card by HDFC Bank is the second most premium offering by the bank after the Infinia Card. Unlike Infinia, although Diners Club Black Card is not invite-only, it does, however, come with quite strict eligibility criteria (minimum gross monthly income of Rs. 1.75 lakh) and a membership fee of Rs. 10,000 per annum. The reward rate of both Infinia and Diners Club Black Credit Cards is the same (5 Reward Points per Rs. 100 spent). The Reward Points earned can be converted into KrisFlyers Miles via net banking. 100 RP = 100 KrisFlyer Miles (conversion ratio 1:1). Thus the effective reward rate of Diners Club Black Credit Card also becomes 3.33% (same as Infinia).

How To Use The Credit Card Reward Points

How To Use The Credit Card Reward Points Having a rewards credit card comes with a lot of benefits. From being able to improve your credit score to being able to access money whenever and wherever you need it, the value of credit cards is huge. But, the most appealing benefit of a rewards credit card is earning rewards every time you shop. Most credit card companies award points based on the frequency of credit card use, attitude toward repayment, and other criteria as determined by the company. To know more about using rewards from credit cards, visit: https://cardinsider.mystrikingly.com/blog/how-to-use-the-credit-card-reward-points Here are some ways to redeem your credit card reward points for shopping online. 1. Shop online If you’re looking for a discount on your next online shopping spree or even looking for some cash back, your credit card rewards points can provide both. Some credit card issuers let you use rewards points to pay for all or some a purchase at select online stores. 2. Get cash back Getting money deposited in your bank account or a statement credit is a great way to use your reward points. You can use the money to pay your bills, add to your savings balance, or reduce your credit card debt. You can also use the rewards to pay off part of your existing debt or move it into an account that pays you interest. 3. Redeem your reward points for gift cards Buying gift cards is an ideal way to use your credit card rewards. Gift cards give recipients value and flexibility. And many credit card companies join with retail stores to give you an extra perk when you redeem your points for a gift card. For example, redeeming 1000 ruppee worth of rewards or points for a gift card might get you another 1000 ruppee gift card instead. And some card issuers let you redeem smaller amounts of points for gift cards compared with the points required for larger reward items. So you can get a gift card for a larger monetary amount for fewer points. 4. Get discounts on airfare and hotels If you redeem your accumulated card rewards for travel, you can net hundreds of dollars in savings on airfare and hotel accommodations. The caveat is that travel-related rewards often require that you have a lot of points saved up. Travel rewards may also be subject to blackout dates, which may make this redemption option less desirable for some. But, if you’re willing to let your points add up and work around the blackout dates, you can get some great free travel. All you have to do is log into your online reward portal and get your discount.

How Much of The Credit Card Balance Should I Use?

Your credit utilization rate, also known as your debt-to-credit ratio, is an important factor that helps determine your credit score.Read more about Credit card balance utilization at https://nayanmahorr.blogspot.com/2022/08/how-much-of-the-credit-card-balance-should-i-use.html   Shown as a percentage, it represents how much credit you use compared to how much you have available to you. Before approving your credit application, lenders and creditors also look at your utilization rate to determine how much of a risk you are. A high utilization indicates that you could be a subprime borrower who may have trouble paying back a loan or credit card bill because you already have a lot of debt, whereas a low utilization rate illustrates you’re able to manage credit responsibly. No matter where your credit utilization rate stacks up against the average, know that the magic to a healthy utilization ratio is maintaining a low credit card balance and a high credit limit. The closer you can get to having a single-digit utilization, the better. Prioritize paying down your balances and once you’ve made a dent in your debt, you could consider asking for a credit limit increase.
