    Richard Phillips

    Episode 8 is with Richard Phillips. The final interview of the first series is with the colourful Adlestrop trainer who has held a license since 1993. Richard trained La Landiere to win the Cathcart in 2003 and had the original idea for National Racehorse Week. Known for his mimicry, the interview is littered with impressions plus anecdotes of the many great figures of the sport he's encountered.     Pat Murphy

    Episode 6 is with retired trainer Pat Murphy. The handler of Supreme Glory & Shooting Light reflects on his life in horse racing. In his early days in Ireland he worked for legends Dermot Weld, PP Hogan & Pat Taaffe, before switching to the UK where he rode prior to joining the training ranks.     Gay Kelleway

    Episode 4 is with Newmarket trainer Gay Kelleway. Gay was a trailblazing jockey riding against the legends of the sport and became the first woman to ride a winner at Royal Ascot. She has been training since 1991 and has had success all over the world.     Gordon Clarkson

    Our second episode is with jockeys' agent Gordon Clarkson. Gordon has held most jobs within horse racing at some point. He started with 'The Duke' David Nicholson before becoming assistant trainer to Richard Phillips and after a stint in broadcasting took on the clients of retiring agent Chris Broad. He describes being on the end of the famous bollockings from The Duke and how an incident with a Vietnamese Pot-bellied pig was the first time he met Richard Phillips!
