    Not long ago, I was on a quest—really, a journey—to find an affordable digital food scale. I didn’t want to spend a lot, but I needed one to help me be more precise in the kitchen as I explore baking—I want to learn how to make bread. (Yeah, I totally missed that entire trend so popular during the pandemic—I was too busy doing other things, I guess.) To justify the purchase in my mind, I researched how digital scales can be used for more than just baking or as a tool to help keep you on track while dieting. And what I found surprised me!
