Marketplace Ministry: Your Business Is a Mission Field

What if the business you're building isn't separate from your ministry — it is your ministry? Somewhere along the way, a lot of us inherited a sacred-vs-secular split: ministry happens on a stage, business happens in the world, and the best a business can do is write a check to "real" ministry. Janeen and Natalie push back on that today — hard, and straight from Scripture. In this episode: Why the "sacred vs. secular" divide isn't the picture Scripture actually paintsLydia, Paul, the women who funded Jesus's ministry, and the Proverbs 31 woman — the Bible's marketplace ministersWhy your business reaches people the church never will — and what that means for how you sellThe line to remember: you don't add ministry to your business, you do your business in a way that is ministryWhat it means for your kids to watch you build — and why that's not a distraction from discipleship, it's part of it This episode also marks something bigger: the launch of Kingdom Families on Mission — a movement for families who believe business is part of the mission God placed on them. Wealth, freedom, raising your kids, and pursuing God's purpose — together, not in competition with each other. Your family doesn't have to sit on the sidelines while you build. Your family can be the mission. 👉 Get on the First 2 Know List and Learn more about Kingdom Families on Mission and what's coming next. https://kingdomfamiliesonmission.com/first2know Part 2 drops next: what you sell becomes how you serve — and how that shapes your family.

TELL THE MOUNTAIN TO MOVE | Speaking Faith When Doubt Is Louder Than Your Prayer

What if we’ve spent years praying about the mountain when Jesus told us to speak to it? In Mark 11:23–24, Jesus says: "Whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says.” In this episode of Kingdom Life Unfiltered, Janeen and Natalie dig into what Jesus actually taught about faith, doubt, our words, and the mountains standing in front of us. We’re talking about: • Why Jesus told His disciples to speak to the mountain • What “have faith in God” really looks like • The difference between acknowledging the facts and allowing the facts to have the final word • What to do when you believe… but doubt is still showing up • How the ten spies talked an entire generation out of a promise God had already given them • Why your words may be reinforcing the very mountain you’re asking God to move • How to identify the sentences you keep speaking over your finances, body, marriage, family, business, and calling • How to replace agreement with fear with agreement with the Word of God • Why biblical faith is completely different from positive thinking or a self-help mantra We also walk you through a practical exercise to audit your words and begin intentionally speaking Scripture over the areas where you’ve been struggling. Because faith doesn’t mean pretending the mountain isn’t there. It means refusing to let the mountain have the final word. “I believed, therefore I spoke.”  2 Corinthians 4:13 So… what mountain have you been talking ABOUT that it may be time to start talking TO? And if this episode made you think of someone, send it to them. When God Goes Quiet Right After You Obeyed

Nobody warns you that the valley usually shows up right after the yes. You obeyed. You moved. You let go of the thing He asked you to let go of. And then it went quiet, the money got tighter instead of looser, the door closed, and you're lying awake at two in the morning wondering if you heard Him at all. Most episodes about this get recorded from the other side. Somebody stands up and tells you what God did after it was over. That doesn't help you while you're still in it. So this one is about what to do while it's still dark. Janeen and Natalie walk through the valley as a route rather than a wrong turn — Psalm 23 puts the green pasture and the valley on the same road, and Hosea calls the Valley of Trouble a door of hope. Then the silence: why John writes that because Jesus loved them, He stayed two more days. Why God fed Elijah and let him sleep twice before He said a word. And the two full years that pass in the space between Genesis 40 and 41 while Joseph has no idea anything is moving. The middle of the episode is the method. A prayer journal built as evidence, not a diary. Date every entry. Four headings, kept the same every time. Asks specific enough to be answered, because vague prayers make invisible answers. And when something comes, you go back to the original entry, circle it, and write the date it arrived. Four years of dated, circled answers in a notebook makes doubt much harder to hold onto. Then expectancy — which isn't optimism. Elijah heard the sound of abundance of rain before there was a cloud, and sent his servant to look seven times. Elisha told three armies dying of thirst to dig ditches in a valley with no wind and no rain coming. The water came in the morning and filled every ditch they had dug. The size of what they received was decided by how much they dug the night before. So the question is what your ditch is this week. Believing for the business — build the offer now. Believing for the house — pack one box. Believing for the child — keep the room. Dig something. Small is fine. Scripture in this episode: Psalm 23:4 · Deuteronomy 8:2–3 · Hosea 2:14–15 · Job 23:8–10 · Isaiah 45:3 · John 11 · 1 Kings 19:4–12 · Genesis 40:23–41:1 · Habakkuk 2:1–3 · Habakkuk 3:17–19 · 1 Timothy 1:18 · Psalm 5:3 · Micah 7:7 · Psalm 27:13–14 · 1 Kings 18:41–44 · 2 Kings 3:16–17 · Lamentations 3:22–26 · Galatians 6:9 · Hebrews 10:35–36 · Ecclesiastes 4:10 Before you go on with your day: open a notebook, write today's date, and write one specific ask. The Vision we've been Praying about: What We're Building for Christian Families

We met inside a Christian leadership community, became besties, and both got certified as biblical leadership coaches. Last year we started working together again, praying for direction as we built resources and courses for Kingdom-minded mamas. Somewhere in there, we saw the missing piece. That's where Kingdom Families on Mission started. KFM is a membership community and legacy school for Kingdom-minded moms and families. A place to build income around your life instead of around someone else's schedule, learn the skills that make it possible, and raise kids who know how to create instead of clock in. Faith is the ground the whole thing stands on, not a topic we add on top. It's built on five pillars: Rooted in Faith, Kingdom Business, Growth & Leadership, Equipping, and Legacy. Doors open soon. From Scarcity to Stewardship: Renew Your Mind for Abundant Living

Scarcity is not only a money issue it is a mindset issue. In this episode of Kingdom Life Unfiltered, Natalie Lawson and Janeen Marino talk about what it means to move from fear, lack, and anxiety into biblical stewardship, peace, generosity, and purposeful living. Romans 12:2 reminds us that transformation begins with renewing our minds. That renewal affects more than our finances. It shapes how we use our time, lead our families, serve others, build businesses, make decisions, and manage everything God has placed in our hands. In this conversation, we discuss: • The difference between a scarcity mindset and biblical stewardship • How gratitude, generosity, peace, and integrity create Kingdom habits • Recognizing lack-based thoughts and words • Making prayer-led decisions instead of panic-driven choices • Creating systems that replace stress and confusion • Stewarding your finances, time, gifts, talents, and leadership • Believing in the vision God has given you • Practical journal prompts to help uncover fear and bring order This week, take some time to ask: Where am I operating from fear? What area of my finances needs order? What seed has God already placed in my hands? What would faithfulness look like right now? God is your source, and you have a responsibility to faithfully manage what He has entrusted to you. Believe in the future He has shown you, remain committed, and run with purpose in every step. “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” — Romans 12:2 Resources mentioned: ✨ Abundant Mindset Guide : https://kingdomlifeunfiltered.com/abundance-mindset 📱The Pause App by John Eldredge 📝 Journal by Kelly Knuckles of Embracing Grace: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1891986746/christian-guided-journal-for-women?sr_prefetch=1&pf_from=shop_home&ref=shop_home_active_16&pro=1&logging_key=53e948d225911892b67c2caaa52f4e034004fd47%3A1891986746 Connect with us and tag us with your one-word War Paint declaration for the week. @Kingdomfamiliesonmission on Instagram Subscribe to *Kingdom Life Unfiltered* for conversations about faith, obedience, family, purpose, business, and building a life led by God. #KingdomLifeUnfiltered #AbundantMindset #BiblicalStewardship #RenewYourMind #ChristianPodcast #FaithAndFinances #KingdomBusiness #ChristianWomen #FaithOverFear #Romans122 Thank you for tuning in to this episode of Kingdom Life Unfiltered.
