The August 2026 "Lions Gate" Eclipse & Mars/Pluto Supercharge

A total solar eclipse just swept from Greenland past Iceland and into Spain, highlighting these nations affairs, and the sky story feels bigger than a single afternoon's event !  In this show, I walk you through the August 2026 “Lions Gate” window, with an astronomer’s eye and an astrologer’s map, starting with what actually happened in the heavens and why eclipses have gripped human attention for thousands of years. When the Moon covers the Sun, the symbolism is visceral: instinct meets identity, and the private mind meets the public will, as a solar eclipse coicides with a joining of an 'inner and outer' sense of Selfhood!  The eclipse path paves the way for astrologers to track earth-wide social hotspots, not as simple cause and effect, but as meaningful correlation. We talk climate extremes and wildfire conditions in Europe, geopolitical tension along the eclipse corridor, and why eclipse seasons usually feel like a spotlight of the major international turning points in history.  Next we widen the lens to the rare-stacked feeling of this week: the Perseid meteor shower under a dark new-moon sky, the “planet lineup” hype, and what Lions Gate really points to historically through the heliacal Sirius Rising season of the dog days of summer. The chart emphasis gets intense: Jupiter, Sun, and Moon in Leo in direct relationship with Pluto, plus Mars and Pluto showing up “out of bounds,” a classic marker of extremes in action and power. I also bring in Ceres alongside Mars to highlight themes of food, aid, agriculture, and what we choose to protect. We end with the big generational backdrop of recent ingress of Pluto into Aquarius and the question I keep returning to for each client: where are Leo and Aquarius in your personal birth chart, and what do they say about your family, your community, and your role in an Ai-powered revolution of consciousness? Subscribe, share this with a friend who’s been feeling the pressure, and leave a review with your Sun sign and the theme you’re working on right now. August 2026 Lionsgate Eclipse!

Everybody’s talking about the August 12, 2026 Lions Gate Eclipse! The "Lionsgate portal" has been heralded as if it's a once-in-a-century switch flipping on. We slow that down and ask a simpler question: what’s actually happening in the sky, what’s Astro-symbolism of the Eclipse, and what's worth paying attention to if you want to understand its meaning to YOUR life, grounded in practical astrology. We start with the real-world timing: the Perseid meteor shower peaks around August 11 to 13, and this year’s dark-sky advantage comes from the New Moon and the total solar eclipse on August 12, 2026.  Then we draw a hard line between awe and omen. Meteor showers are stunning, but they aren’t a traditional astrological indicator, and “planetary parade” headlines often inflate something that’s visually interesting into something astrologically rare. From there, we get into the main event: a total solar eclipse in Leo opposing Pluto in Aquarius. That axis puts power, leadership, ego, and the collective psyche on the table, especially through the lens of a South Node eclipse, which can point to release, simplification, and confronting shadow patterns.  We also talk eclipse paths, why astrologers watch eclipse lines over time, and why fixed signs Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, and Scorpio may feel the pressure and the invitation for change most strongly. If you’ve been feeling a deep sense of "shift" without a clear reason, we offer a framework that doesn’t rely on hype: cycles, timing, social 'zeitgeist', and honest self-review, plus practical ideas like journaling, meditation, and getting outside under a truly dark sky.  Subscribe, share this with a friend who’s been hearing the Lionsgate buzz, and leave a review with your biggest takeaway or question. Cycles of World Transformation - 'In and Out of the Basket' ! 2026 Summertime Transcendent Configurations

Summer 2026 keeps popping up in Astrology circles for a reason: multiple slow-moving planets stack into rare patterns at the same time, and the timing clusters around an August 12, 2026 total solar eclipse in Leo!  We sit down with Astrologer and Reverend Dr. Peter Lanzillota to sort signal from noise, reviewing two major cycles of 2026, the "Barbault Basket” and the “Transcendental Trine” to talk about what long cycles can symbolize without slipping into fantasy or fear. We also get specific. When headlines surfaced that Ai “went rogue” in July 2026, we use that moment to ask harder questions about technology governance, global responsibility, and the resources behind the Ai boom. If data centers consume water and power while huge parts of the world still lack basic infrastructure, what does “progress” even mean? We connect these ethical tensions to outer-planet themes and to the way instant media can amplify distraction and numb curiosity. Then we widen the frame to history and generation. Pluto’s long cycle, Neptune’s cultural fog and chemistry, and Uranus’s revolutionary spark show up in repeating patterns across eras, from the Renaissance to the mid-20th century. We revisit the 1967 Summer of Love, the Human Be-In, and the psychedelic push for awakening, and we contrast shortcuts with the slow work of meditation, contemplation, and real character growth. The throughline is simple: astrology is most useful when it pushes us toward awareness, not escapism. The 2026 Barbault Basket - Empty or Full ?

Summer 2026 is getting hyped as a once-in-a-lifetime “awakening,” but we’re not interested in selling a fantasy. We’re interested in a clear-eyed read of the sky, with history on the one hand and real-world outcomes on the other.  Joined by my fellow Astrologer and Theologian Reverend Dr. Peter Lanzillotta, we dig into the much-talked-about 2026 Barbault’s Basket configuration, and ask the question behind the memes: is the basket empty or full, and what does it actually signal for culture, politics, and spiritual life? We unpack what we can verify from research and translation, then compare the 2026 excitement to earlier mass-moment forecasts like the 1987 Harmonic Convergence and the 2012 Mayan calendar wave. Both had cultural impact, but neither delivered an automatic upgrade to humanity. That sets the tone for our main framework: astrological cycles are evolutionary timing markers, not guarantees. Here, we zoom in on the transpersonal planets Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto and why their meanings track with the eras in which they were discovered, from revolution and technology to mysticism and delusion to power and transformation. Then we bring it into the present. The Uranus Neptune Pluto “Transcendental Trine,” Jupiter opposite Pluto, Chiron entering Taurus, and the August 2026 eclipses all point to pressure and possibility at the same time. We talk candidly about fusion vs fission, Quantum AI and robotics, plutocrats and ideologies, and the way Uranus/Neptune/Pluto  configurations always mirror major geopolitical themes. Dr. Lanzillotta also shines a spiritual lens on why organized religion may be at a make-or-break point if it cannot meet the crisis of the culture.  If this conversation sharpens how you think about astrology and the future, subscribe, share the episode with a friend, and leave a review so more listeners can find us. 'Astrology’s Bard' - an Interview with Master Astrologer Robert Glasscock

A birth chart can be a mirror, but it can also be a timeline, a family history, and a practical manual for growth if you know where to look.  We sit down with Master Astrologer Robert Glasscock and start with the big picture of his natal chart: a 'Fan Gestalt' pattern with a singleton Moon in Aries that becomes the handle, the focal point, and the repeating theme that shapes how his life unfolds. From there we go deep into technique. Robert breaks down how to list planets in Zodiacal Degree order to reveal a “Developmental Arc” that describes how you start things, how you develop, and where you land in the end. We talk Equal House astrology vs Placidus house systems, transits that trigger life chapters, and why Mercury in Virgo can be the ultimate reality check: A philosophy of  "if it does not improve your life in tangible ways, why keep it?" The conversation gets personal and surprisingly literal as we connect a Full-Moon at his birth, Neptune signatures, and early childhood memories of altered states in the home. We also explore free will vs fate through the Seth books and the idea that belief systems shape lived reality, including money, health, and relationships... altering one's beliefs CAN alter one's life experience!  To close, Robert shares a striking Horary Astrology story that raises the stakes on what “cosmic timing” might really mean.  If you enjoy astrology podcast conversations that balance craft, storytelling, and spiritual insight, subscribe, share this with a friend, and leave us a review. Robert Thurman Remembered

To consider the legacy of Professor Robert Thurman is to reflect on a truly phenomenal life. His journey was a personal 'tour-de-force' characterized by a fierce intellect and an unyielding commitment to a spiritual awakening. As a pioneering scholar, translator of the The Tibetan Book of the Dead, and a tireless advocate of the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan people, the magnitude of the impact of his life's work is immeasurable. We sit down with a couple who knew Bob well, Michael Burbank and Chisti Dryden, to honor Thurman’s memory and trace the through-line from an American monk to a Columbia professor, master translator, Tibet House US founder, and a driving force behind Menla, the retreat center in the Catskill Mountains of New York. We talk about the improbable turns: learning Tibetan at lightning speed in 10 months at age 26, building a lifelong friendship with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and turning scholarship into public service. Michael and Chisti share personal stories about Menla as a place where community forms, where Tibetan medicine and wellness practices can be experienced directly, and where spiritual inquiry stays grounded in the body. Along the way, we touch upon Bob's life during the 1960s world of Millbrook, Ram Dass and Timothy Leary, psychedelics, and the fierce “quality control” impulse that pushed Thurman to defend Tibetan teachings while still engaging the era’s big questions about consciousness. The conversation also gets real about activism and cultural survival. We discuss Tibet’s ongoing occupation, censorship, surveillance, and the intensifying pressure on Tibetan language and identity, plus why Thurman’s voice helped bring Tibet into mainstream awareness.  We weave in Astrology as a lens through which to explore Thurman's truly extraordinary being, to seek his inner source of meaning and purpose, and discover the surprising ways Tibetan Astrology and medicine intersect. We close with a look at legacy in the digital age: Dharma Bob, an Ai app built from Robert Thurman’s library of recordings, bring to life his archives and teachings through Tibet House.  If this moves you, subscribe, share it with a friend, and leave a review so more listeners can find these stories and keep the conversation going. 2026 Summer Solstice Chiron in Aries/Taurus and the ‘Transcendental Trine'

A once-in-centuries style sky pattern is building in 2026, and we’re not treating it like abstract mysticism. We’re looking at it like a cultural pressure system: the 2026 Summer Solstice arrives alongside major ingresses and a rare “Transcendental Trine” connecting Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, three planets tied to collective consciousness, technological leaps, and the deep stories civilizations tell about meaning and power. We’re joined by the Reverend Dr. Peter Lanzillotta, astrologer, theologian, and counselor, and we open with a heartfelt memoriam for another spiritual leader, Professor Robert Thurman. His life, scholarship, and spiritual courage give us a human anchor for the bigger theme: How do we stay wise and grounded when history accelerates?  From the discovery eras of Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto ... to the fact that those cycles correlate with revolution, modern chemistry, mass communication, and nuclear power, we explore why “invisible” planets often describe forces we feel ... before we can fully name them. Next we bring it down to Earth. We talk about Ai and its profit motive, and the ecological cost of 'data centers' and the habit of adopting new tech before asking about long-term consequences.  We unpack Neptune’s higher expression as transcendence and spiritual idealism, and its shadow as denial, addiction, and ideological fog, especially with Neptune in Aries. Finally, we track Chiron’s back-and-forth ingress from Aries into Taurus, and how and why Chiron is a bridge between the personal and the transpersonal, and how to locate your own healing work by house placement in your natal chart. Alignment 2026 - "The Transcendental Grand Trine" - a 6000-Year Cosmic Reset

Something rare is brewing in the sky for 2026 through 2032, and it is not subtle.  We sit down with returning guest Astrologer and Professor of Theology, Reverend Peter Lanzillotta Ph.D., to unpack the powerful outer-planet configuration many are calling a Minor Grand Trine and why we prefer the name “The Transcendental Grand Trine".  As Pluto in Aquarius links with Uranus in Gemini and Neptune in Aries, the focus spotlights a major multi-generational change, technology acceleration, and the feeling that the Ai cultural zeitgeist ... is perhaps moving faster than our spiritual evolution. We connect the dots between Pluto’s long cycles and the way different generations experience the world, from Gen X to Gen Alpha, especially around AI, robotics, and the 'always-on' digital mind.  Using a pop-culture lens like Woody Allen’s film Sleeper, and a blunt moral question about whether we are trading humanity for convenience, we explore what “progress” costs when compassion gets sidelined.  Dr. Peter also offers a sharp framework for these transpersonal planets: Uranus as transformation and revolution, Pluto as transmutation and irreversible rebirth, and Neptune as transcendence that can inspire healing or slide into denial and addiction. We also touch on practical timing tools, outlining recent and upcoming-years  major-windows, when the Transiting Sun triggers Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus and hits these activation points of this 'Transcendental' cycle. Each conjunction highlighting both the inner and outer landscape of our collective journey. Also, we discuss why Mars cycles on these 'Transcendental-points' may show up as conflict, pressure, and opportunity for real breakthroughs. By the end, you will know what to look for in early Aries in your birth chart and why Neptune may be the catalyst that shapes whether this era personally becomes a time of visionary expansion, or disorienting unclarity.
