    Date: September 25, 2026. Lesson 190-2026. Proverbs 29:27 - Two Paths in Conflict

Proverbs 29:27 ends with a sobering truth: “An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.” Biblical wisdom does not promise that living rightly will make us universally accepted. Sometimes the very presence of an upright life exposes compromises others would rather leave unchallenged. Yet Solomon is not giving believers permission to become combative or unpleasant.
