time to start exercising that muscle…again (ep. 13)

heyyy! this week i felt on my heart to film a podcast episode but only a short little clip! in today’s episode i talk about what it feels like to fall into sin after working so hard to grow self discipline and self control. this walk is never going to be all sunshine and rainbows. i think the worse thing the flesh can do to the flesh is led us into temptation because it all pushes us closer to the Lord. the flesh is apart of us. we are born into our flesh but born again by baptism, but just because we’re born again it doesn’t mean we never fall again but it’s means we receive the Holy Spirit, that brings us conviction and wisdom. willing walking into sin is probably the hardest thing to comeback from but i wanted to trust myself and take control into my hands…and if there is one thing that will continuously humble me, it will be me taking things into my own hands. He shows me so patiently that leaning on my own understanding will never be beneficial. i hope you don’t feel alone but know that no matter how perfect we want to be it never will be and really that okay. that’s expected. just make sure you take that conviction from the Holy Spirit to God. don’t listen to the devil telling you that you’ll never come back from this because trust you will. If you are new HELLOOO! My name is Amari, I am a senior in college seeking to get my Bachelors in Human Development and Psychology. I am 21 years old, but 2 years reborn. so lets address that ANGER. (ep. 12)

Hey everyone! I got the podcast up on time. I think Sunday may be my post days! I’m still trying to figuring out which days may work best for me with my schedule. for today’s episode, I talk about how the god of this world—pride, lust, money, materialistic mindsets, lies, deception— has led and blinded so many unbeliever from the light of the gospel from the face of God. 2 Corinthians 4:4, Galatians 4 are some of the scriptures I go to for today’s episode. I’m sorry there is no captions today, the software I use wasnt working properly! This episode turned out a lot more intense, emotionally, and spiritually than I initially thought it would be. I hope that you share this with someone who may need to hear this, and if you are lead to share on other platforms as well. The Lord is really moving and I am so blessed and honored that He chose me. a few words of encouragement, just for you (ep. 10)

Hi everyone! I hope everyone of you are doing well. For today’s episode I wanted to pour so much encouragement and influence in you all. I know firsthand, I can testify about backsliding during my walk with Christ. I can testify to feeling the weight of embrassnent and shame when trying to escape your sin cycle. I want to share with you words that have encouraged me, blessed me, and renewed my thinking. God is never upset when you return, but the biggest mistake you can make it never turning back to face Him. Always turn back. No matter how many times life gets you down and out, the Lord is always ALWAYS waiting with His arms open. Please be so so encouraged today. I had to encourage myself. I even re-encouraged myself while editing this. I love you all! If you are new HELLOOO! My name is Amari, I am a senior in college seeking to get my Bachelors in Human Development and Psychology. He was NEVER absent (ep. 8)

HI everyone! It been such a long time since I have been here, but I promise you I am back. Life started swinging at me hard but as you can tell I started swinging back. I took control back and then handed that back to the Lord. I let the enemy rule me for so long but I thank God for a Lord who doesn’t like seeing His children perish. In today’s episode, I just wanted to catch you all up on what I have been through and mention breifly some of the revelations the Lord put in my path. If you are new HELLOOO! smoking saved me (ep. 7)

heyyy everyone ! welcome back to another episode of The Gratitude Walk Podcast! I hope everyone has been well. ⚠️i want to put out a warning that i speak about anxiety, substances such as marijuana, vaping, and alcohol⚠️. in today’s episode, I felt led to speak about how smoking is what brought me to the Lord. My journey with an indulging in marijuana, allowed the Lord to speak to me loud and clear one day. And in the season I’ve currently been in, I’ve been struggling to show gratitude, and the Lord reminded me that that is the purpose of this space. So I wanted to come on today and drop an episode about how grateful i am that the Lord didn’t leave me where He found me and He pulled me out the pit that I was in, Amen. I hope today’s episode resonates with you and if you know someone in may resonate with, please share it with them. God will use a story you less expect to testify to those who are willing to listen! God tells us, “those who has ears will hear” i pray hearts , ears, and minds are open to receive today’s story. Stay blessed, be safe, and love on someone today, you never know if they truly need it inside. “just stand still” (ep 6)

Hi friends! Thank you so much for choosing to listen to The Gratitude Walk Podcast today! In today’s episode I still down as raw as it gets and express how I am feeling a lot of confusion in a situation. I was led to start filming because the Lord gave me this space to be heard and for Him to be heard through me. In the chaos we may feel we are keeping are eyes on the Lord but in reality our gaze is far from Him. God didnt let Peter sink. Peter sank because he was too worried about the storm around him that he lost sight of the Savior before him. Its hard but lets try to acknowledge at times we are Peter. While also acknowledging there has to be a step taken to get our heads back above water! I hope the Lord touches someone who really needs it today. God bless you!
