72| Not Feeling Like Yourself? Needing a Simple Place to Start? with Kelli Wike

Whoot Whoot! Our first “Me Time” Gathering! 💕 Ten lovely girlfriends gathered together to take a few moments for ourselves — to laugh, share ideas, have meaningful conversations and simply do life together. We started our evening with a special podcast conversation with Kelli Wike, where we walked through her Habit Stacker reflection in the Being Brave Tour Magazine and talked about how small steps can create big changes. Instead of trying to change everything at once, Kelli encouraged us to think about ONE positive habit we could “snap” onto something we already do every day — and, just as importantly, to think about our WHY. Then the conversation took on a life of its own. 💕 Ideas were bouncing around the room. Women were encouraging one another, sharing what works for them, laughing, getting curious and helping each other think about what one little change could look like in their own lives. In fact, we were having such heartfelt conversations over dinner that I completely forgot to take photos! 😂 Maybe that says something beautiful all by itself. So let’s keep the conversation going… What is ONE positive thing you could “snap” onto something you already do each day? And don’t forget to ask yourself — why does it matter to me? 💕 *Special thank you to Laurie Hardie, Podcast Coach and creator of 7 Day Podcast Pro Program for helping the Being Brave Tour come to life! http://www.coachlaurie.com/ A Little About Kelli Wike Kelli Wike is the founder and president of Nutrition Concepts Inc., with a degree in nutritional science and more than 30 years of experience helping people navigate health and wellness. Her own experiences with dieting, gut issues and menopause shaped her compassionate, relatable approach to helping women feel their best through every stage of life. Kelli believes healthy change doesn’t have to feel overwhelming — it can start with one small, intentional step at a time, which is exactly what she invites us to explore through her Habit Stacker reflection in the Being Brave Tour Magazine. 69|What If You Stopped Being Invisible? | Kay Fittes on Showing Up, Speaking Up & Knowing Your Value

What If You Stopped Being Invisible? | Kay Fittes on Showing Up, Speaking Up & Knowing Your Value Have you ever felt invisible? Maybe you've worked hard, done all the right things, and quietly hoped someone would notice your value. Or perhaps you've found yourself shrinking back, waiting to be asked, or hesitating to say what you really want. In this episode of the Being Brave Tour Podcast, Karen Rae sits down with speaker, author, and founder of High-Heeled Success, Kay Fittes, for a conversation about what can happen when women stop waiting to be recognized and begin showing up for themselves. Kay knows the feeling of invisibility personally. Growing up surrounded by big personalities, she says she never fully developed a voice of her own. That experience eventually became part of the foundation for work she has now spent decades doing with women. Together, Karen and Kay explore what Kay calls the “Big Fat Lie”—the belief that if we simply keep our heads down, work hard, and provide enough value, eventually someone will notice and reward us. Kay offers another possibility: learn to recognize your own value, ask for what you want, use your voice, take up space, and become intentional about how you show up. She also walks us through her 6 P's for High-Heeled Success, from personal and professional esteem to verbal and nonverbal communication, presentations, and personal packaging—practical ways women can begin moving from insight into action. And Kay shares something that may surprise you: her very first presentation ended with her passing out! Today, after thousands of seminars and decades as a professional speaker, she's living proof that where you begin doesn't have to determine where you end up. This conversation is an invitation to ask yourself: Where might I still be making myself smaller? What do I really want? And am I willing to ask for it? Kay's hope for women is that we recognize the power already within us—and use it to create change in our careers and our lives. About Kay Fittes Kay Fittes is a dynamic speaker, author, coach, and founder of High-Heeled Success. Drawing from her background as a therapist and business trainer, Kay has spent decades helping women turn insight into action and build powerful, fulfilling careers. She is the creator of the 6 P's for High-Heeled Success and has delivered more than 3,000 seminars to over 100,000 women, combining practical strategies with warmth, humor, and real-world experience. Kay is also the author of multiple books, including Achieving High-Heeled Success: 50 Ways for Career-Oriented Women to Succeed. At the heart of her work is a message every woman deserves to hear: You have power. You have value. And you don't have to stay invisible. Want to take this conversation a little deeper? Follow along with Kay’s reflection in the Being Brave Tour Magazine: Beautiful Faces Going Places Women’s Success Network Issue and give yourself a little “Me Time” to explore what her message means for you. 71|Yes Changed Everything: Suzy Prudden on the Choices That Shaped an Extraordinary Life

Say Yes to Yourself: Suzy Prudden and the Power of Possibility What if the next chapter of your life begins with simply saying yes to yourself? In this episode of the Being Brave Tour Podcast, Karen Rae sits down with New York Times bestselling author, entrepreneur, publisher, and longtime media personality Suzy Prudden for a conversation filled with stories of possibility, reinvention, and taking the next step—even when you don't have it all figured out. Suzy shares how she began teaching exercise in the living room of her five-flight walk-up in Greenwich Village, said yes when someone unexpectedly asked if she taught fitness to two-year-olds, and grew that beginning into a million-dollar business. She also shares the story of her Box of Possibilities, created during one of the darkest seasons of her life as a reminder that even when we can't see what's ahead, possibilities still exist. From building businesses and writing books to media appearances, publishing, and starting over again, a thread runs through Suzi's many chapters: keep showing up, keep growing, and be willing to say yes. Suzy also gets candid about one of the opportunities she didn't take—and why it taught her the importance of saying yes even when something feels scary. Her message for women is simple: There is a power inside of you far greater than you may realize. Maybe there's an idea you've been carrying. Maybe you're stepping into a new season. Or maybe you don't know exactly what's next. You don't have to have it all figured out. Sometimes the next brave step is simply to begin. About Suzy Prudden Suzy Prudden is a New York Times bestselling author, internationally acclaimed speaker, entrepreneur, fitness expert, hypnotherapist, success and accountability coach, publisher, and radio and television host. Throughout her career, Suzy has appeared on more than 1,000 radio and television programs, including Oprah, The Today Show, and Good Morning America. Her career has included multiple chapters and reinventions—from building a successful fitness business and becoming a body-mind pioneer to writing books, coaching, media, and publishing. Today, through Itty Bitty Publishing, Suzy helps authors bring their expertise into the world and use their books as tools to build their businesses and become known for what they know. And after all of those chapters, the message she shares in this conversation may be the simplest and most powerful: Say yes to yourself.
