What If Success Is Who You Impact

At the end of the game, every property, every dollar and every piece goes back into the box. What remains is how people felt because you were here. In this episode, Brent sits down with Mick White, founder of Purpose Fueled  for a powerful conversation about legacy, vulnerability and living a life that outlives you. Mick shares how his mother's unexpected death changed the way he sees success, relationships and the limited time we are given. Although she lived a simple life, hundreds of people showed up to share how deeply she had loved and supported them. Mick also opens up about success, divorce, anxiety, fatherhood and learning to stop living for everyone else's approval. His message is not about having life perfectly figured out. It is about showing up as yourself, using your gifts to bring people together and taking action before you feel completely ready. All of this helped him build the business he has today. You can either let it consumer you or build you.  Sometimes changing your life does not require a massive goal. It starts with one small commitment, calling your mom, reaching out to an old friend or showing up for someone consistently. You do not have to change the entire world today. Start with the person directly in front of you. Find Mick Connect with Mick White on LinkedIn and learn more about Purpose Fueled at PurposeFueled.community or PurposeFueled.company. Purpose Fueled also hosts monthly gatherings in the Twin Cities designed to create meaningful conversations, genuine connection and a safe place for people to show up as themselves. The Higher You Go in Leadership, the Lonelier It Gets

Nobody warns you that the better you get at leadership, the fewer people you feel like you can actually talk to. In this episode of Your Limitless Leadership, Brent and Jenny tackle a side of leadership that rarely gets discussed. Isolation at the top. Who do you talk to when you can't dump your problems on your team? You're hesitant to show weakness to your boss? Your peers may be competing for the same opportunities? Brent and Jenny pull from decades of real-world leadership and coaching experience to unpack why even highly successful leaders start overthinking. Why they second-guess themselves, avoiding difficult conversations and quietly lower their standards. Stop trying to carry it alone. More importantly, they talk about what fixes it. Brent and Jenny also challenge leaders to examine their own ego, vulnerability, trust, and willingness to ask for help. In fact, the leaders with the biggest opportunities may be the ones who need someone in their corner the most. If leadership has ever felt heavier or lonelier than you expected, this episode is for you.  Follow Your Limitless Leadership for more real conversations about becoming the leader your people need, and if you want someone in your corner who understands the weight of leadership, connect with us at DNAcall.com. 🔗 Connect with Your Limitless Coach Ready to take your leadership, performance, and income to the next level? 👉 Book a complimentary call with us at dnacall.com Follow Brent & Jenny for daily leadership, mindset, and coaching insights: 📲 Instagram: @brentwidman | @jennymariewidman | @yourlimitlesscoach LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/brentwidman | linkedin.com/in/jennywidman

Why Your Team Doesn't Trust You (And How to Fix It)

Before leaders will accept accountability, change their mindset or raise their standards they first need to feel safe enough to tell the truth. After leading a mindset workshop for 12 successful insurance leaders, Brent and Jenny share what it really takes to break through resistance and create trust. Rather than beginning with sales numbers, recruiting goals, or performance expectations, they started with the Mirror Exercise. Helping each leader honestly examine where they were falling short personally and professionally. They also unpack their Triple A Framework: Awareness, Acceptance, and Action. Leaders can't change what they refuse to acknowledge. They can't ask their people to live by standards they are unwilling to live by. But many do. Through honest conversations, personal stories, and powerful realizations, the group began to understand that culture is not something written on a wall, it's demonstrated by the leader daily. The training ended with a simple 40-day HABIT Challenge: Hydrate, Activity, Bible or spiritual reflection, Intellect, and Thankfulness. These small daily commitments created a practical starting point for stronger mindset, greater personal discipline, and more credible leadership. Trust is not built by what leaders tell people to do. It is built by what people consistently see their leaders do. Learn more about Brent and Jenny, leadership coaching, team training, and upcoming group coaching programs at Your Limitless Coach. Why Motivation Fails and Accountability Wins

Motivation feels great when it shows up. The problem is, motivation will not always be there, especially on the boring Tuesdays when you are tired, stressed, or simply do not feel like doing the work. In this episode of Your Limitless Leadership, Brent and Jenny break down the difference between motivation and accountability. Motivation can provide the spark, but accountability is what keeps the fire going. They share real stories from business, health, parenting, marriage and leadership to show why people continually start and stop. With that, how the right systems, commitments and people can help you follow through. They also discuss the three types of accountability everyone needs: someone close to you, a pacing partner you respect and an outside perspective that is not emotionally attached to the outcome. You will learn how accountability builds self-respect, creates confidence, and eventually turns difficult actions into something you simply do. Whether you feel motivated or not. The biggest takeaway: Motivation starts it. Accountability sustains it. Discipline turns it into who you are. When you are ready to create stronger accountability for yourself or your team, Your Limitless Coach can help through coaching, workshops, training, and speaking. Take the Mask Off and Lead

What if the mistakes you're embarrassed by are actually the exact things that make you qualified to help someone else? In this episode of Your Limitless Leadership, Brent sits down with Jess Shaffer, a coach with Your Limitless Coach, to talk about growth, leadership, self-awareness, and learning things the hard way. Jess shares her journey from growing up in Louisiana, bartending on Bourbon Street, realizing that life was not the future she wanted, and making the hard decision to move to a small mountain town in Colorado to start over.  Jess opens up about being thrown into leadership before she really knew how to lead, making mistakes, receiving hard feedback, and eventually learning how to take off the mask and show up as herself. The conversation gets into self-talk, vulnerability, confidence, coaching, and why growth can sometimes make the people around you uncomfortable,  that does not mean you should stop growing.  This episode is a reminder that your past does not disqualify you. It can actually prepare you. Jess's story is about shortening the pain curve, asking for help sooner, investing in yourself, and realizing that leadership gets better when you stop trying to look perfect and start being honest, curious, and real. You do not have to keep learning everything the hard way. Get help, grow on purpose, and stop making yourself smaller so other people feel more comfortable. If this conversation hit you, share it with someone who is growing into leadership, trying to find their confidence, or learning how to stop getting in their own way. Being Great at Sales Doesn't Make You a Great Leader

Why Top Salespeople Often Fail as Leaders. The biggest mistake organizations make is assuming their best salesperson will naturally become their best leader. The skills that help someone close business, outwork the competition, and hit personal goals are not the same skills required to build, coach, and develop a team.  In this episode, Brent shares one of the most personal stories of his career. From being a top producer to struggling in leadership, carrying self-doubt for years, and believing he simply wasn't cut out to lead. If you've ever been promoted because you were great at your job but then wondered why leading people feels so much harder, this conversation is for you.  Brent and Jenny talk about the traps nearly every new leader falls into:  Trying to be the hero instead of the coach, Expecting others to work exactly like you, Believing hard work alone is enough, and Letting ego keep you from asking for help. They also share the leadership moments, mentors, and lessons that completely changed Brent's career and gave him the confidence to become the leader he is today. The message is simple, leadership isn't something you're born knowing. It's a skill that can be learned if you're willing to be coached, stay humble, and invest in your own growth. If you're making the transition from top producer to leader, or leading someone who is, you'll walk away with practical insight and a renewed perspective.
