Join the boys for a journey through a year filled with discovery: 1967! The youth of the nation were discovering psychedelics and the music of Hendrix during the Summer of Love, Dustin Hoffman was discovering his adulthood in The Graduate, and two dudes claimed to have discovered Bigfoot in the woods of Northern California. 61. Nineteen Ninety-Seven

Mark & Trey head back to 1997; a year that seemed to have high schoolers as the target demographic. They talk about Surge soda, Goldeneye on N64, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Then they talk about the number one movie of the year, Men In Black. Relive the dichotomy of feel good bops and depressingly slow ballads by listening to our 1997 music playlist on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3gLkeNUlHrK4AwHfdNmF4k?si=48669888dc41417b Hosted on Acast. The boys are back after a restful week off. But they picked a stressful year to come back to: 1962! The Cuban Missile Crisis was ramping up Cold War tensions. But people were hopeful for the future, with things like The Jetsons and Spacewar! (one of the first video games.) Then, Mark & Trey watch Lawrence of Arabia for the first time, the longest movie to ever win Best Picture at the Oscars.
