    Are You Teaching Too Much?

Many health coaches struggle with content that gets engagement but doesn't convert to clients because they're teaching too much instead of leading transformation. When we focus solely on delivering information, we accidentally position our audience as passive consumers who appreciate our knowledge intellectually but aren't emotionally compelled to take action. • Health coaches often turn every post into a lesson packed with tips and information • Teaching a lot can lead to content that gets likes and saves but doesn't convert to clients • Teaching is not the same as leading or creating transformation • Over-teaching removes your audience from the process and answers questions they haven't asked yet • Humans take action when something resonates emotionally, not just intellectually • Effective content creates reflection and helps people see themselves clearly • Shift from teacher to guide by creating content that drives deeper shifts, not just quick wins • Before posting, ask yourself: "Is this teaching something or helping someone see something new?" • Balance informational posts with content that models your coaching approach • Remember you're a health coach, not just a health educator – people can Google information, but they need you for transformation Join our Facebook group to continue the conversation – the link is in the show notes. One-on-One, Group, or Membership: Choosing Your Ideal Coaching Container

Choosing between one-on-one coaching, group programs, or memberships isn't just about picking a format—it's about understanding your business stage and what kind of container you can confidently lead right now. Each model requires different skills, methods, and business foundations that must be built in the right sequence for sustainable growth. • One-on-one coaching builds your actual methodology and shows you how people really change • Working directly with clients exposes your weaknesses early so you can address them before scaling • Group programs require a completely different skillset beyond just coaching multiple people at once • Your process must be repeatable and structured before running effective group experiences • Memberships are often romanticized but require long-term engagement beyond just content • Start with one-on-one if you're still clarifying your method and voice • Move to groups once your method is solid and you've worked with many one-on-one clients • Consider memberships only after building trust, rhythm, and a loyal audience • Choose the format that lets you lead with clarity, confidence, and consistency I'd love to hear what you're thinking after this episode!
