    Continuing God's Mission

Pastor David Midzi, a trustee of the church and lead minister at Living Faith International Ministries, reminds us that even as the church is in a season of transition, we should embrace it with both reflection and anticipation. After the faithful and impactful leadership of Moses, a servant who carried out God’s mission with dedication and strength, God’s people faced a pivotal moment. Yet, in that transition, God raised Joshua and gave him a powerful assurance: “As I was with Moses, so I will be with you.” As we navigate this period of change, he reminds us that we are called to be prayerful, receptive, and united, trusting that God is already at work, lifting the right people for this next season. The same God who was faithful before remains faithful now. This message encourages us to embrace both gratitude for what has been and faith for what is to come, because God’s presence goes with His people, and His mission always moves forward.

    Evangelism and Discipleship

In that spirit of reflection and purpose, Jon speaks on Evangelism and Discipleship, exploring what it truly means to share our faith and to walk intentionally with others as they grow in Christ. He shares some practical tips, common pitfalls to avoid, and how to faithfully live out the Great Commission in our everyday lives. He prayed for us that as we enter this new season, may we be a people who not only grow personally in Christ but also help others rise into the fullness of life He offers.

    Covenant Friendships in All Seasons

Lawrence unpacks what it means to live in covenant friendship, drawing from 1 Samuel and the powerful relationship between David and Jonathan. Their friendship carried them through difficult seasons as they strengthened one another in God and demonstrated the fruits of the Spirit, gentleness, humility, kindness, patience, and above all, love. This message reminds us that God calls us to walk closely with those He places around us: to encourage and be encouraged, to stand with one another in hardship, and to grow together in faith and love.

The Word of God & Money

In this message from our Roots series, Pastor Dave explores how our relationship with money can quietly become a spiritual obstacle, preventing us from seeing the bigger picture of what God is doing in our lives. Jesus reminds us that life is not measured by the abundance of what we own, but by how we live, love, and give. While the world encourages us to accumulate more and prove our worth through possessions, the Kingdom of God calls us to live open-handedly — allowing God’s blessings to flow through us to others. Dave's message challenges us to intentionally choose faith over financial security, generosity over accumulation, and trust in God over trust in wealth. Will we hold tightly to what we have, or will we trust God and become channels of blessing to others?

    Wonder and Creation

Sally takes us through the beauty and wonder in God's Creation and how that makes us feel and draws us closer to God. She highlights how our response can cause us to bear fruit that lasts Jeremiah 17:8: He will be like a tree planted by water. It sends its roots out toward a stream. It doesn’t fear when heat comes, and its foliage remains green. It will not cease producing fruit in a year of drought.

    The Power of Words

As we begin 2026, we are reminded that one of the most powerful ways we shape our faith, our thinking, and our lives is through God’s Word. The words we listen to, speak, and live by matter deeply. Scripture in Hebrews 4:12 reminds us that God’s Word is living and active, able to renew our minds, strengthen our spirits, and guide our steps. Pastor Dave focuses on the practice of engaging with God’s Word and reflecting on the power of words, as well as how God speaks to us, forms us, and invites us to align our lives with His truth. As we commit ourselves to Him this year, may we devote ourselves afresh to listening for His voice and allowing His Word to shape our trust, our prayers, and our daily walk.

    Genesis Series

In this episode, we take a deeper journey into Genesis 1, uncovering God’s deep desire for a relationship with humanity. Through the story of Adam and Eve, we explore the reality of disobedience, its lasting impact on the world, and yet the overwhelming grace of God who continually calls us back to Himself through repentance and reconciliation, fulfilled ultimately in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins. Pastor Dave also highlights the powerful theme of rest in the creation story, showing how God’s design for rest is not weakness but worship. This theme weaves forward into the life of Noah, a man through whom God sought to redeem and restore His people in a broken world. A rich and thought-provoking message on creation, fall, redemption, and rest.
