[011] I Investigated Camp Cold Lake

Believe it or not, I did not move to Dark Falls to start investigating missing persons cases and unexplained paranormal phenomena. And since I've been depleting my savings faster than I anticipated, I needed to start looking for a job. It took one whole month to be notified that I was not chosen for the positions I was applying and actively interviewing for. While I was unable to record and upload during that time, I did get to do A TON of "mostly legal" investigative work on a 411 case at a summer camp on the edge of Dark Falls. Enjoy this episode. [008] I Found the Weirdest Camera

Whenever a camera is put in front of my face, the first thing that usually comes to mind is my mother's voice saying, "Show me those pearls, Gideon." It was an old-fashioned phrase she often used when I was little, before taking my picture. She used to say it all the time, even when I was already smiling, and I can’t recall a single moment when she wasn’t urging me to grin as wide as I could. I always wondered why she never used a more common expression like, "Say Cheese" throughout my childhood... About 41 degrees North and roughly 75 degrees West, there's an old abandoned payphone standing on the outskirts of Dark Falls. I'm pretty sure anyone listening to this is wondering why I drove out to the middle of nowhere just to find this particular payphone. And to tell you the truth, the series of events that led me out here all started with a bizarre Reddit comment. I had to read the diary of someone involved to get to the bottom of it, but something tells me she won't mind.
