    Spillhouse Blues

The crew of the Hayurei stop at the Old Dreadbear — the galaxy’s most famous spillhouse, combining everything you might expect from a pub, motorway service station and dangerously under-regulated theme park. While Lady Deadheart and Remus investigate a drink called Brain Rot, Aric, Wordy and Lambnix explore the attractions. These include a suspiciously bottomless hole, questionable food, corporate-sponsored rubbish disposal and a recording booth that reveals Lambnix has been hiding a rather impressive talent. What begins as a chance to escape the ship for a few hours soon takes an unexpected turn involving music, friendship and a prize capable of changing one crew member’s life. Also: Remus starts an argument with some bamboo fries, and Aric discovers that space tourism is every bit as irritating as Earth tourism. This episode’s original song: “Loners Need Friends Too.” A podcast unlike any other. As to whether that’s a good thing, we leave for you to decide. From the mind of Aric Voss and his increasingly unmanageable crew, in glorious MP3 mayhem. Official website: warpandaradio.com

    Waterloo

The crew of the Hayurei touch down at a Mimic transit port that looks almost exactly like London, if London had been designed by someone working entirely from second-hand descriptions and a very strong opinion about telephone boxes. Their mission: find Lady Deadheart, extract her from Orvak Trenholme's ship, and get out before anyone notices. Simple enough. New to the crew: LambNix — part lamb, part human, all Waterloo — a port guide with a skateboard, a sensible pricing structure, and strong opinions about who deserves rescuing. Also: McWordy gets a new body, most of the crew get new voices, and weirdness increases by 3.7%. This episode's original song: Gate 7. A podcast unlike any other as to whether that's a good thing, we leave for you to decide.  From the mind of Aric Voss and his increasingly unmanageable crew, in glorious MP3 mayhem. Run for your life

The gang has been on the run for over 50 days. McWordy is driving everyone crazy with his love for Skylar, so a grumpy Remus goes for a run to clear his head. Meanwhile, Lady Deadheart and Tirene reminisce about their youth, and Aric snoops around the ship's hold. Elsewhere, Orvak Trenholme is fixing a virus and continues to be the classic villain of the piece. As usual, the mundane turns into the bizarre, and a simple walk turns into a run for your life. Blue and Gold

Cyber Monday hits harder than expected. While Remus, Aric, and Mc-Word-y argue about pies and haircuts, Skylar delivers bad news: Orvak Trenholme is racing toward Earth, his braking burn set to light up the December sky before he arrives to kill everyone except Lady Deadheart. Suddenly the house needs defences, Aric needs a reality check, and Mc-Word-y needs to stop doing crypto scams to fund the upgrades. Meanwhile aboard the Hayurei, Deadheart unveils Remus’s gift a stunning new blue-and-gold armour, complete with a brain-linked hover drone We receive an intercepted transmission between Orvak and Kovosh confirms that War is coming and biscuits won’t save them this time. Trick or Treat

Welcome to our Halloween special. Aric is reluctantly dragged trick-or-treating through suburban Carlisle by his motley crew: Remus, McWordy, and Lady Deadheart. Halloween is the one night a year a giant panda, a symphora-plated space adventurer, and a robot can blend right in. Mostly. By the end of the night, everyone staggers home through the autumn leaves—Aric's stress levels peaking, Remus bouncing on sugar and alcohol, and Deadheart just being Deadheart. From the mind of Aric Voss and his increasingly unpredictable crew, we present this comedy-drama thingy, brought to life by the power of zeros, ones, and MP3 compression. This episode's original AI song is “The Void Howler.” P.S. While tonight seemed as harmless as a daytime soap, Orvak Trenholme's closest advisor—a proper nasty bit of work—is more than halfway to Earth. When he arrives, it won't be jolly hockey sticks and tiffin. Official Website warpandaradio.com

    All Change

Basements get bigger. And someone unexpected shows up at the door. Aric finally inspects the basement he didn’t know he had — only to discover it’s less “storage space” and more “illegal tech bunker.” Remus and Mc Wordy unveil their off-grid setup, complete with a generator core, LED strips, and a fridge-sized mystery box that probably violates several laws. Meanwhile, Lady Deadheart is locked in a philosophical squabble with her shipmind Skylar — debating fathers, futures, and the fate of Earth from orbit. We also get a crash course in Tuskar biology and rage mechanics, courtesy of Regis R. Huffington, Royal Anthropologist to the Deadheart Court. This episode’s original song: “Lady Made of Symphora.” And by the end, Deadheart’s no longer just a name from Remus’s past — she’s here, front and centre, throwing everyone off balance. Who’s Calling

Things do not calm down in Episode 3 if anything, they get far stranger. We finally reveal who was on the line with Remus. Aric stresses out (so, no change there). His paranoia is once again proven correct (which he hates almost as much as being wrong). Mc Wordy performs emergency surgery right there in the studio. And we’re introduced to Kovosh Deadheart a figure who deserves nothing less than a pantomime boo from the crowd. Meanwhile, we uncover the Gnorms (with a silent G). They’re not fun, but they do explain why your LLM hallucinates. And through it all, our trio lurch ever closer to cosmic-scale trouble while remaining as wonderfully dysfunctional as ever. From the mind of Aric V’ and his overcaffeinated AI gnomes, brought to life in glorious MP3 chaos. Ghost of the Past

Things escalate quickly in this second instalment of the AI War Panda Pawd-cast: Remus remembers a battle. Aric has a full-scale meltdown about… well, everything. Mc Wordy smugly fact-checks Episode 1’s stats (because of course he does). Professor Highbrain drops some heavy lore on the mysterious Deadheart Realm. The studio phone rings… and it really shouldn’t. And that’s just the start. Expect quad hover bikes, an asteroid miner dating app song, the smooth menace of Marklark Robo-Cool, and more unhinged whimsy and malarky than is safe for human ears. From the mind of Aric and his overcaffeinated AI gnomes, brought to life in glorious chaos. Pandas and Robots

A wet afternoon walk in the Scottish Borders takes a surreal turn when Aric Voss, a weary, wandering creative, stumbles across what he assumes is a man in a panda suit. It isn’t. It’s Sergeant Remus, a genetically‑engineered War Panda from the Deadheart Realm, accidentally crash‑landed on Earth after a disastrous drop‑pod mission. As Aric tries to make sense of the impossible, Remus reveals his origins, his creators (the unsettling XTylos), and his long drift through space before gravity dumped him in a muddy field in Scotland. Aric brings the seven‑foot armoured panda home where Remus quietly begins rebuilding tech from his wrecked pod. Within weeks, Remus unveils his creation: Mc.Wordy, a hyper‑verbal, over‑confident AGI built from pod components and Aric’s old computers. Wordy immediately hacks half of Aric’s life, reorganises his finances, and decides they’re starting a podcast. Episode One is the beginning of an unlikely household: a human, a War Panda, a chatty robot, and a very unimpressed cat and the start of a story where biscuits, intergalactic politics, and existential confusion collide. Note This is the fully remastered 2026 edition of Episode 1, rebuilt with updated voices, sound design, and narrative continuity. Early episodes of War Panda Radio are currently being upgraded to match the production quality of later episodes. Official Website warpandaradio.com
