    55. Stop Waiting: Start Walking in Your Purpose

Have you been waiting for God to reveal your purpose before you take action? Maybe you are waiting for a clear sign, more confidence, better timing, more training, or a moment when everything finally makes sense. But what if clarity does not always come before movement? What if God reveals more of your purpose as you begin walking with Him? In this episode, Josh and Corina talk about how waiting can sometimes be rooted in fear rather than obedience. They share their own journey of spending years in a familiar church and career season, believing they were being faithful while also sensing that God had something more. It was not until they began taking small, imperfect steps that God started bringing greater clarity and direction. They explain that God often gives us enough light for the next step rather than the entire journey. Like headlights on a dark road, His guidance may only illuminate what is directly in front of us, but that is enough to keep moving with Him. This episode will help you recognize the difference between active waiting and fear-based hesitation. You will learn why action gives you valuable information about where you have peace, grace, fruit, and momentum, and how even one small act of obedience can open doors you never expected. 54. Identity in Christ Brings Freedom and Direction

Do you know who you are in Christ, but still struggle to live like it is true? In this episode, Josh and Corina talk about how identity in Christ is more than a comforting Christian idea. What you believe about who you are affects how you think, how you make decisions, how you handle comparison, and how confidently you follow God. Corina shares how, as a child, she was often called bossy because she was opinionated, strong-willed, and quick to see the plan. But as she grew and allowed God to refine that part of her, what once felt like a rough edge became a leadership gift. Instead of hiding the way God made her, she learned to let Him mature it and use it for His purposes. Josh and Corina explain that many of the traits we have tried to suppress may actually be immature strengths God wants to refine. When we know who we are, we stop trying to be someone else, break free from comparison, and begin to recognize the unique purpose God placed inside of us. They also talk about how shame, failure, and careless words from others can become false identities. But your past does not define you. Your mistakes are not your name. In Christ, you are a new creation, and God wants to remove false labels and speak His truth over who He made you to be. 53. Confused About Your Calling? How Identity Leads to Purpose

Who did God make you to be? Knowing your identity in Christ is more than knowing you are a Christian. It is also about discovering the unique way God designed you, what makes you come alive, and the good works He prepared for you to walk in. In this episode, Josh and Corina talk about personal identity in Christ and how understanding who God made you to be can lead to greater purpose, fulfillment, and clarity. Josh shares his story of spending 19 years as an engineer in a stable and successful career that looked great from the outside but never felt fully fulfilling. It was not until he began working more directly with people, encouraging them, helping them grow, and connecting them with God that he started to recognize what truly made him come alive. Josh and Corina explain the difference between our shared family identity as believers and our personal identity in Christ. As followers of Jesus, we are children of God, loved, accepted, chosen, royal, holy, and called to partner with Him. But God also made each of us uniquely, with specific passions, dreams, gifts, and assignments. Using Ephesians 2:10, they unpack what it means to be God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works prepared in advance. You are not an accident. God did not mess up when He made you. He formed you with intention, put something beautiful inside of you, and created you on purpose for a purpose. 52. Spiritual Warfare to Stay Free Every Day

What does it take to get free and stay free? In this episode, Josh and Corina talk about daily habits for spiritual warfare and how to continue walking in the freedom Jesus already paid for. They unpack the tension many believers feel between what the Bible says is true and what they are currently experiencing in real life. Corina shares a story about a client who had received healing but began to feel afraid when symptoms returned. Through their coaching sessions, God revealed that she did not have to earn her healing and that fear was making it harder for her to hear God’s voice. As she partnered with truth, broke agreement with fear, and listened to what God was saying, she experienced powerful breakthrough. Josh and Corina also talk about the difference between receiving freedom as a gift and walking it out in daily life. Just like salvation, healing and deliverance are received by grace through faith, but we still get to partner with God as we work out what He has already given us. Freedom belongs to us in Christ, but we often need to renew our minds, break agreement with lies, and take back any authority we have given to the enemy through fear, unbelief, or old patterns of thinking. Using the example of Israel entering the Promised Land, they explain that God had already given His people the land, but they still had to step into it, obey His instructions, and take possession of what was theirs. In the same way, believers are invited to stand on God’s truth, listen for His battle plan, and partner with Him in obedience. 51. The Peace Prescription: Bible Verses for Peace

Do you ever wish God would just tell you what to do to have more peace and joy? In this episode, Josh and Corina unpack two powerful passages of scripture, 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 and Philippians 4:4–7, and show how they give us a simple prescription for peace, happiness, and emotional health: rejoice, pray, and give thanks. Josh shares a funny and practical story from a date night when he was feeling stressed about money and asked Corina to “worry positive” with him. Instead of spiraling into fear, they began imagining all the ways God could come through, laughing together, and intentionally shifting their thoughts toward God’s goodness. That simple practice helped break the power of worry and brought them back into peace. Josh and Corina also connect these biblical practices with research showing the benefits of joy, prayer, and gratitude. They explain how rejoicing can help break negative thought loops, how prayer calms fear and creates connection with God, and how gratitude trains our minds to notice what is still good even when life feels hard. 50. How to Overcome Lies and Renew Your Mind

How do you actually renew your mind and replace lies with God’s truth? In this episode, Josh and Corina break down the five-step mind renewal process they use personally and walk others through to identify lies, break agreement with them, receive God’s truth, and begin thinking in alignment with what God says. Corina shares a personal story about bringing her chronic health struggles to the Lord during this process. As she asked God what lie she was believing, He showed her that she had been trying to save herself. Then He gave her a picture of resting in His healing, floating safely in a life preserver while the waters became calm. That truth became a declaration she could return to whenever fear or striving tried to take over. Josh and Corina explain that mind renewal is not just memorizing scripture or trying harder to think better thoughts. It is an intentional process of partnering with God, letting Him reveal the lies underneath hopelessness, fear, anxiety, and discouragement, and then replacing those lies with His truth. 49. How to Share Your Ministry Story with Clarity

How can ministry leaders communicate more clearly, raise support more effectively, and invite people into the story God is writing through their work? In this episode, Josh and Corina talk with Lisa Diaz, host of the Story Driven Fundraising podcast, about how ministry leaders can use the power of story to fundraise, communicate vision, and help people understand the impact of their ministry. Lisa shares how she grew up as a missionary kid, initially resisted the idea of fundraising, and later discovered the incredible power of story while creating a fundraising video that led to hundreds of children being sponsored. Lisa explains why many ministry leaders struggle to clearly communicate who they are and what they do, especially when they have not been trained in messaging, fundraising, or marketing. She shares how leading with story helps people emotionally connect with the need, understand the mission, and see their role in the solution. 48. Romans 12:2 Biblical Encouragement for Real Transformation

What does it actually mean to be transformed by the renewing of your mind? In this episode, Josh and Corina unpack Romans 12:2 and talk about how mind renewal leads to real transformation. They share how changing your beliefs is not just about thinking more positive thoughts, but about partnering with God’s truth until it becomes deeply rooted in the way you see yourself, God, and your life. Josh shares how he used to believe hearing God’s voice was hard or that he had to earn his way back into God’s presence. But as he began renewing his mind with the truth that the Holy Spirit lives inside of him and that he is always connected to God, hearing God became easier and more natural. Josh and Corina also explain the meaning of the word “transformed” in Romans 12:2, connecting it to metamorphosis and the picture of a caterpillar becoming a butterfly. You already have what you need inside of you to become who God created you to be, but mind renewal helps unlock that identity and bring it into expression.
