Meet Indian Army veteran and 1971 Bangladesh Liberation war hero Col Ashok Kumar Tara (R), who rescued Bangladesh founder Bangbandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's family from the hostage of Pakistan Army. With unprecedented wit and courage, Col Tara, who was then a major in Indian Army forced Pakistan Army soldiers and officers to surrender. He achieved the feat unarmed when Sheikh Mujib's family and he himself was under gun point. Col Tara won the Vir Chakra for battle of Gangasagar, India's third highest war time award for his bravery. Col Tara was also awarded Bangladesh highest civilian award, the 'Friends of Bangladesh Liberation War Honour', for rescuing Sheikh Hasina and her family. Col Tara, who consider Bangladesh his second home, reveals many startling facts about the unrest in Bangladesh and deposed Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

    How Will India Balance China- Pakistan Amid Trump Tairffs At SCO Summit 2025? ND Podcast

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in Sanghai Cooperation Organisation Summit 2025 at Tianjin on 31st August and 01st September 2025. The meeting of 25 head of states will include Pakistan PM Shahbaz Sharif also. While India shares a disputed border with both neighbours China and Pakistan, Border Patrol Agreement following Galwan valley incident concluded during BRICS Summit in Kazan in October 2024 has yet not been implemented fully. It has been revealed by military leadership of India that China has actively provided real time intelligence to Pakistan during Operaton Sindoor in the wake of Pahalgam attack. In recent months, India's Defence Minister, NSA and External Affairs Minister has visited China. Now Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is visiting India for SR Talks. This will be followed by Dr. Jaishankar's visit to Moscow. How India is going to balance both China and Pakistan in the wake of Trump's unjust tariffs is very challenging.

    President Trump welcomed President Putin at Joint Base Elmendorf- Richardson in Anchorage of Alaska as President Putin was made to walk through a narrow stretch of carpet. US Military's mightly F-22 were flanked on tarmac along side the red carpet. As both Presidents shook and walked a little B-2 Stealth Bomber and F-35 fleet passes over them. President Putin was seen reacting to that strange phenomenon as he looks at the fly over aircraft. The meeting on conclusion was termed as productive but did not yield into any deal. President Trump soon after the meeting made some comments and spoke to Ukraininan President Volodymyr Zelensky and some European leaders. I have analysed and tried to bring perspective in this podcast episode to whatever transpired in Alaska meeting.
