    Miami Connection (1987) w/ Ryan

    "Friends through eternity, loyalty, honesty We'll stay together through thick or thin" In what might be the funniest MoviePod episode yet, we are cracking into the wide world of Vinegar Syndrome releases and covering the orphan and kung fu-heavy tale of friendship known as Miami Connection. This Orlando (NOT Miami) made movie had a ridiculed local release in the 80s and wasn't revisited until the 21st century. Music from this movie was used in Far Cry: Blood Dragon and the sincere earnestness of the film has enchanted bad movie aficionados for years now. Y.K. Kim's film is an absolute blast that everyone should watch.

    Halloween II (2009) w/ Maeve

    Neither of Rob Zombie's Halloween movies received much critical fanfare. People found his approach to making Michael Myers a deeper character to be unnecessary and Zombie's typical filmmaking style was seen as off-putting. However, his sequel has gained a better reputation over time as people have have appreciated the increased violence and psychological tension. Maeve is back to discuss what I believe is by far Rob Zombie's best film. Join us for a good discussion on the film and tune in for the live reaction when I reveal that I think The Whale is a good movie.     The Exorcist III (1990) w/ Tim Sestito and Tommy Thevenet from Haven't Scene It

    The second follow-up to William Friedkin's horror masterpiece had high expectations but didn't quite become the critical bounce back as expected from the reviled Exorcist II: The Heretic. Overtime William Peter Blatty's The Exorcist III is now widely considered the best sequel in the franchise it features what is considered to be one of the greatest jump scares in horror history. I'm joined by Tim and Tommy from Haven't Scene It to talk about this fascinating and atmospheric film. That is, until the episode goes off the rails with extensive discussion on Fat Russell Crowe in The Pope's Exorcist. Our discussion on The Pope's Exorcist is continued on their podcast with another episode that goes hilairously off the rails as we just pitch superior Pope's Exorcist sequels. The Exorcist III was written and directed by William Peter Blatty. It stars George C. Scott, Ed Flanders, Jason Miller, Scott Wilson, Nicol Williamson and Brad Dourif.
