Rewrite Her Voice

Rachel

A podcast where we uncover and rewrite the voice of your inner mean girl. She’s loud. She’s critical. She knows exactly how to hit where it hurts. But what if your inner mean girl isn’t your enemy… what if she’s just misunderstood? We’re taking a compassionate and curious look at your inner critic—the voice that tells you you’re not enough, not ready, or just plain wrong. Instead of silencing her, we’re learning to listen, understand where she came from, and rewrite her story. ✨ What you’ll walk away with: How to identify the true voice of your inner mean girl (hint: it might not even be yours!)Why she’s not trying to hurt you—but protect you in a misguided wayPractical tools to help you give her a name, personality, and even a little loveThe powerful shift that happens when you respond with curiosity instead of resistanceThis isn’t about toxic positivity or pretending the voice isn’t there. It’s about turning inward with empathy, rewriting the beliefs she’s holding onto, and showing her (and yourself) a new way forward. 💬 When you stop fighting her and start understanding her, you unlock one of the most powerful forms of self-healing. Let’s make peace with your inner mean girl—and start telling a better story together. Let's rewrite her voice!

When Your Brain Turns One Small Problem Into a Mountain

Send us Fan Mail Have you ever started with one tiny task...and somehow ended up mentally trying to solve your entire life? Yep. Me too. Recently, my mom moved in with us as she officially entered retirement (WOOHOO!), which meant combining two households into one. And while we're SO excited to have her here, the amount of stuff that came with combining two homes had both of us feeling completely overwhelmed. I noticed something happening in my own brain: I'd look at one small thing that needed a home, and suddenly my brain was spiraling through everything else that needed to be done. One task became ten. Ten became fifty. And eventually, I found myself in freeze mode. Sound familiar? In this episode, we're talking about what happens when overwhelm turns one problem into an entire mountain, and how focusing on one small, solvable thing at a time can help you get out of the spiral and back into action. We'll talk about stopping the mental train, leaning on trusted people when you need to vent, practicing patience when something doesn't have a quick fix, and remembering that you don't have to carry tomorrow's problems today. Because sometimes the strongest thing you can do isn't solve everything. It's simply asking: "What's the next thing?" The Should Trap

Send us Fan Mail Have you ever noticed how often the word should influences the way you show up in relationships? I should be easier to love. I shouldn't need reassurance. I should be more confident. I should be the one who reaches out. They should just know what I need. So often, we don't realize how much our relationships are shaped by invisible expectations. Expectations of who we should be, how we should act, and what we believe makes us worthy of love and acceptance. In this episode, we’re exploring how these "shoulds" can lead us to mask who we are, hold ourselves back, overgive, overperform, or try so hard to be loved that we lose connection with ourselves. We’ll talk about:  How expectations create emotional masks  Why we sometimes hide our needs, feelings, and true selves  The difference between authentic connection and performing for acceptance  How perfectionism and people-pleasing show up in relationships  The question that can start freeing you from limiting rules: "Who decided this was the rule?"Healthy relationships aren't built on being the perfect version of yourself. They're built on honesty, vulnerability, boundaries, and the courage to let yourself be fully seen. If you've ever felt like you have to be "less" or "more" of something to be loved, this conversation is for you. I would love to hear how your inner mean girl is showing up and what tools are working for you!
