Christa Pike: The Murder of Colleen Slemmer

In January 1995, 19-year-old Colleen Slemmer left with three people she knew and never made it back. What followed was a prolonged and brutal attack that would eventually put Christa Pike on Tennessee’s death row. In this episode of Society of Sickos, Riley breaks down the full case from beginning to end — what led up to the murder, the roles of Christa Pike, Tadaryl Shipp, and Shadolla Peterson, the evidence found at the scene, what happened after Colleen’s body was discovered, and how the case ultimately ended in a death sentence. This is the story of Colleen Slemmer — not just the woman who killed her. Society of Sickos — where the real monsters aren’t under your bed.

Ella Mae Begay: The Confession That Couldn't Be Used

On June 15, 2021, 62-year-old Navajo elder Ella Mae Begay disappeared from her home in Sweetwater, Arizona. Her Ford F-150 was seen leaving before sunrise, but Ella Mae was never seen again. Investigators eventually focused on Preston Tolth, a man connected to Ella Mae’s family who admitted striking her, taking her truck and leaving her along a road. But the interrogation that could have become the center of the case was ruled inadmissible after investigators continued questioning him after he invoked his right to remain silent. What followed was a controversial plea agreement, years of searches and a family left without the one answer they have continued fighting for: Where is Ella Mae Begay? In this episode of Society of Sickos, RileyLueNews breaks down the complete timeline, the suppressed confession, the evidence, the plea deal and the failures that allowed Ella Mae’s disappearance to remain unresolved.
