    S2 EP 02: Sweating through our Issues at Treehouse Sauna

    This week, we took the pod on the road - and straight into the heat at Treehouse Sauna, who kindly invited us down to soak, sweat & absolute sh*te (alongside some very real truths ofc). We get into contrast therapy from a woman’s perspective & how so many wellness “rules” were never designed with our hormones or cycles in mind. Somewhere along the way, we agree that sauna and ice baths have quietly become the new pub - & honestly, we’re not mad about it. The chat drifts into being in bikinis on camera, cellulite, stretch marks, and the way so many of us put life on hold because we don’t feel “perfect” in our bodies. Somewhere between the sweat & the hormones, we both agree that commenting on people’s weight needs to be left behind & how body shame steals so much mental space without us even realising.     BONUS EP: New Year, Same Chaos

    In this episode, we call bullsh*t on reset culture and the pressure to become a completely different person just because the calendar flipped. We talk about why trying to change everything at once only sets you up to fail & how most people end up feeling worse by February than they did in December. Instead of forcing a reinvention we’re backing choosing one realistic habit instead of signing up for 75 impossible ones. There’s chat about meditation attempts that didn’t quite stick, sitting on good ideas for far too long & what it actually looks like to start closing loops instead of carrying mental clutter everywhere. We also talk about releasing one-sided relationships & letting go of situations that no longer give anything back. We reflect on rock bottoms, health scares, heartbreak, and losing control - & why even after all of that, you’re still allowed to feel excited about a new year. Not because you’re becoming a new person, but because sometimes you just need to close the loop and leave certain sh*t behind. New year, same chaos from us..

    We’re back with BIG life updates. Kirstie’s just finished her breathwork course (she literally left her soul on the mat), why it moves things talk therapy can’t, and the WILD exercise that made her realise she’d never speak to a stranger the way she speaks to herself. Then Caz drops the plot twist: Ms. Freedom-Is-My-Love-Language has had a foster fail and is now a full-blown momacita. Meet our first special guest and official Floating Rock mascot. We get into the meltdown that came with committing to a new version of life, why you don’t always need a “reason” to cry, and how good it feels to just let it out.     S1 EP 12: Is Having A Boyfriend Embarrassing Now?

    We’re back after a week in the bin & unpacking… a lot. From the epidemic girlie problem with the leg curl machine (if you know, you know) to Vogue’s take that “having a boyfriend is embarrassing” - we’re talking soft launches, the wild world of social media & being the f*cking prize. Caz’s October was a ride: ran into Shrek (LOL) without a wobble & chose peace. Kirstie’s honest about feeling out of place at home (Caz’s advice… book the flight?.  Also featuring: the 60-year-old gym bestie who once rescued a girl at sea & now invites Caz to beach sing-songs. Naturally. We’re back babyyyyyy!!
