Moral Medicine conducts in-depth interviews with individuals who have experienced permanent, life-altering side effects from medications such as Finasteride, Accutane (Isotretinoin), SSRIs, Lion’s Mane, Saw Palmetto, and others. With limited research into the biological mechanisms behind these reactions—and little understanding of why only some people are affected—our mission is to raise awareness and drive further investigation into these overlooked conditions. We aim to uncover answers, push for research, and ultimately help discover effective treatments. Our channel amplifies the voices of those whose lives have been disrupted by serious, often dismissed side effects—bringing attention to the urgent need for informed consent, scientific inquiry, and support for those harmed.

    Former U.S. Army Sergeant’s Life Destroyed by Finasteride

    I have been suffering with the devasting effects of the pharmaceutical hair loss drug Finasteride for over two years now. After discovering that my mysterious neurological symptoms were probably the result of the drug, I decided to come off the medication in hopes that these symptoms would dissipate. Unfortunately, this did not happen. My body crashed and caused a myriad of different symptoms that still plague me to this day. The purpose of this video is to share my story, dispel common myths about Post Finasteride Syndrome, and build awareness for this disease in hopes of inspiring others to step up and talk about their experiences. Together, I'm confident this community can find a cure and defeat this devastating disease once and for all. Post-Finasteride Syndrome is the current term for a rare syndrome characterized by devastating physical, neurological, and sexual side effects that persist and progress even after stopping finasteride. This condition occurs primarily in younger men who have taken the drug to treat hair loss, and there is currently no effective treatment available. PFS has a disastrous impact on patients, their families, and their friends. It often leads to disability, isolation, and even suicide. Every person is valuable, and everyone deserves to make a fully informed choice about their health. More research into Post-Finasteride Syndrome is desperately needed.
