Have you ever thought about what God's laugh might sound like? Is it soft like the wind or loud like a summer thunderstorm? Maybe it's a belly laugh... And have you ever heard it? Well, as Joy Himself, I believe God's laughter is in everything, IS everything, including ourselves. So in the Belly Laughs podcast, we are going to talk about that EVERYTHING, God's laughter incarnate, and maybe, just maybe, we'll have a few laughs ourselves!

    Ep 3: Happy Accidents

In today's episode, we'll talk about Bob Ross and the checkout racks at TJMaxx, and we'll use the brilliance of St. Thomas Aquinas to explore the theology behind laughter (and God's laughter specifically)! Is our ability to laugh just a happy accident? Listen and find out! Quote mentioned in episode is from Shauna Niequist, "Cold Tangerines: Celebrating the Extraordinary Nature of Everyday Life"

Ep 2: What Makes You Different

Have you ever thought your quirks or idiosyncrasies were problems that needed to be solved, instead of gifts that God has given you to help you achieve your personal vocation? Well, I have, and it took a random assessment and the theology behind a Backstreet Boy's song to help me see the Truth! What makes you different IS what makes you beautiful :) Book Mentioned: Living Your Strengths: Catholic Edition (from Gallup, Don Clifton) Bible Verses for Each Gift Input: John 21:25, 2 Timothy 4:13, Proverbs 2:1-6 Belief: John 20:27-29, Joshua 24:15, Colossians 3:23-24 Connectedness: Ephesians 4:16, 1 Corinthians 12: 14-26, Romans 8:28, Matthew 7:7-8 Intellection: Luke 2:46-47, Acts 17:17-18, Matthew 22:37, 1 Peter 1:13 Adaptability: Philippians 4:12-13, Matthew 6:34, Mark 10:13-16, Luke 19:5-10

Welcome to Belly Laughs! I am still working out some kinks but please join me on this journey as we find God’s laughter in everything! This episode is just an intro into who I am, as your host, before we set off into the great unknown!
