    Nearly 30 (REALLY!!??) years ago, Dave was one of the originals at Marion’s groundbreaking Spinning studio in East Hampton, New York. Now—three decades later—he’s back, this time as one of the very first guests on her newest venture. From humble beginnings to becoming a leader in wealth management, David Rosegarten’s journey is a testament to perseverance, passion, and purpose. His story reminds us that true success goes beyond financial achievement—it’s about relationships, mentorship, and giving back. Tune in as we explore how Dave built a thriving career while staying grounded in community, balance, and gratitude. A little bit about David: David began his career at Drexel Burnham in New York City where he rose to Vice President and Associate Manager of one of the most successful offices in the country. Once taken over by Smith Barney and throughout his six-year tenure there, David was elected to the Regional Directors Council and graduated from the firm's Management Development Program.  Serving as a mentor to many, David became a regular public speaker and instructor for the firm's various national training programs.  Recruited by UBS in 1994 he made the transition and co-founded The Rosegarten/Rubin Financial Group where he has been for 31 years. At UBS, David is a Managing Director and  has developed and managed successful client relationships with some of the country's most prominent executives, business owners, corporations, not-for-profit organizations and foundations.  He has built his practice and reputation by providing total portfolio planning with an expertise in long-term asset growth, fixed income strategy, risk management, retirement planning and asset allocation.  A recipient of many professional recognition awards and invitations to many public speaking events, David has been a member of the firms President’s Council for many years and is currently a member of The UBS Chairman’s Council and has completed the Certified Investment Management Analyst ( CIMA)  designation at the Wharton School of Business as well as the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®) designation. David graduated from The University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business with a degree in Finance and Banking. David serves as the President of the Board of Trustees for The Lifeline Center of Child Development in New York and has sat on the Board of Directors and has served as the Treasurer to the 99th Riverside Housing Corporation. David has sat on the Audit Committee for the American Council on Exercise.  He is an active leader for the Pediatric Cancer Foundation and has been a Divisional Coordinator for the Manhattan Soccer Club.  David was Sloan-Kettering Cancer Hospital's largest individual fundraiser via the New York City Marathon.  He chairs an effort each year to raise funds for holiday toys and clothing for children living in hospitals and shelters in NY.  David has been awarded the UBS Aspire Award given to only a few for his contributions to philanthropy, character, culture and firm endeavors. He and his wife, Tara, along with their two daughters, Madison and Olivia, reside on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
