    Battle Scars

Strategies for Success Built for Battle: Battle Scars September 25, 2026 Every scar has a story. Some scars are visible. Others are carried where no one else can see them. They come from battles we've fought, failures we've experienced, losses we've endured, and seasons we weren't sure we would make it through. But a scar means something important: The wound didn't win. In the final episode of our September series, Built for Battle, Travis and Tyler talk about Battle Scars and what the difficult seasons of life can teach us about faith, leadership, and legacy. Too often, we look at our scars as something to hide. We remember the pain, the mistakes, or the moments when life didn't turn out the way we expected. But those same scars can become reminders of God's faithfulness and evidence that we've made it through battles we once thought might defeat us. In faith, our scars remind us that God was present even in the difficult seasons. In business and leadership, they represent lessons that couldn't have been learned from a textbook. Some of our greatest wisdom comes from decisions that didn't work, risks that didn't pay off, and problems we had to fight our way through. And in legacy, our scars become stories we can pass on. Someone coming behind you may be facing the same battle you've already survived. Your story may be exactly what they need to hear. Don't be ashamed of every scar. Learn from it. Remember what God brought you through. And use it to help somebody else keep fighting. Because when the battle is over, the scars don't just tell the story of what hurt you. They tell the story of what didn't defeat you. Faith • Business • Legacy Strategies for Success with Travis & Tyler

    Strong to the End

Strategies for Success Built for Battle: Strong to the End September 18, 2026 What does it really mean to be strong to the end? This week on Strategies for Success, Travis and Tyler sit down with Reverend David Lloyd, missionary to Haiti and co-author of the book Strong to the End, for a conversation about faith, calling, perseverance, and what it means to keep trusting God through life's hardest battles. David shares from a perspective that isn't simply theoretical. His family's story has been marked by tremendous faith, service, sacrifice, and unimaginable loss. Yet through it all, the message remains the same: following God isn't just about starting strong. It's about remaining faithful all the way to the finish. In this episode, we talk about what it looks like to answer God's call when the road ahead isn't easy, how faith carries us through circumstances we never expected to face, and why a life of faithfulness can leave a legacy far beyond anything we could have imagined. Whether the battle you're facing is in your faith, your business, or your family, there will be moments when quitting seems easier than continuing. Those are the moments when we have to remember why we started, Who called us, and what we're fighting for. You don't have to have all the answers. You don't have to understand everything that happens along the way. But you can remain faithful. You can keep moving forward. And you can be Strong to the End. We Remember

Strategies for Success Built for Battle: We Remember September 11, 2026 September 11, 2001, is one of those days when almost everyone who lived through it remembers exactly where they were. For me, I was at work with my dad. My mom had taken my sister to a doctor’s appointment, so I had gone to work with him. Someone came into his office and said, “Mike, a plane just flew into a building.” There was an old TV in the entryway that we normally used for training videos. We turned on the news, and I remember watching as the second plane hit the World Trade Center. At that moment, we knew this wasn’t an accident. America was under attack. I remember the uncertainty that followed. The Pentagon was hit. Another plane went down in Pennsylvania. Gas stations filled with lines. People wondered what might happen next. Then, in the days that followed, I remember looking up and seeing those perfectly blue skies with virtually no airplanes overhead. Twenty-five years later, I still remember. But September 11 also reminds us of something else. In some of America's darkest hours, we saw incredible courage. Firefighters ran toward buildings while others were running away. Police officers, first responders, military personnel, and ordinary Americans stepped forward to help people they had never met. We were reminded that courage isn't the absence of fear. Courage is deciding what matters more than your fear. That's what it means to be Built for Battle. The battles we face today may look different. They may happen in our families, businesses, churches, communities, or inside our own hearts. But difficult moments reveal what we've built our lives upon. Faith: When everything around us feels uncertain, our foundation has to be bigger than our circumstances. Business: Leadership matters most when things don't go according to plan. In a crisis, people aren't looking for panic. They're looking for someone willing to stand up, make decisions, and lead. Legacy: Someday people won't remember everything we accomplished, but they will remember how we responded when life got difficult. On this September 11, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost. We honor the heroes who ran toward danger. We remember the families whose lives were forever changed. And we remember the men and women who answered the call to serve in the years that followed. Never forget. And when your own battle comes, remember: you were built for this. Faith • Business • Legacy Strategies for Success
