In Episode #8 of Transcending Dogma, Paul Willsea and John Amarilios sit down with moderator Joe Covell outside by the pond for an unscripted conversation about personal responsibility and the role we play in directing our own lives. Approaching the subject from different perspectives, they explore responsibility, circumstance, personal growth, the choices we make, and what it means to take ownership of the path we're walking. This conversation was recorded under the pavilion during Summer Solstice weekend and releases September 22 at 7:45 PM Eastern Time — one last hurrah for summer before the Autumn Equinox at 8:05 PM. Perspectives on Fundamental Laws is a three-part trilogy released across Episodes 5, 6, and 7 of Transcending Dogma. The content for these episodes was filmed during a spiritual convention where people from many different backgrounds came together to share short talks on faith, scripture, spirituality, and the deeper laws that shape our lives. The source inspiration for this convention comes from Dr. R. Swinburne Clymer’s book Fundamental Laws, a collection of essays arranged into a novel in the early 1900s and drawn from participants at a spiritual convocation of that time. These episodes are more scripture-oriented than previous conversations on Transcending Dogma because we chose not to censor or overly shape the voices of the participants. Each speaker prepared a 3–5 minute reflection, and we allowed each person to go forth without interruption.
