    Episode 7: What Really Happened This Fall and Winter

    We start by recapping our recent trip back home to Wisconsin to visit family. There’s something, simply put, special about returning to where you came from, especially when you’re building a very different kind of life now. From there, we shift into what’s ahead for our homestead. We share some of the projects we’re dreaming up, the plans taking shape, and how we’re trying to balance ambition with realism in this season.     Episode 2: Home is Where He Leads Us.

    In this episode, we open up about the journey that took us from our small hometown of Marshfield, Wisconsin, to Indiana—and to several other locations as well. Leaving the comfort and familiarity of where we grew up wasn’t easy. We faced emotional goodbyes, unexpected challenges, and seasons of uncertainty. But through it all, we began to see how God was guiding each step of the way—even when we didn’t fully recognize it in the moment. We share stories of transition, growth, and the moments that tested our faith the most. Whether it was finding community in new places or navigating the unknown, God showed up time and again to provide clarity, comfort, and direction, and a community of people that fit perfectly into each season of life. Now, as we’ve settled into life in South Carolina, we can truly say it feels like home. We talk about what makes this place so special to us, how far we’ve come, and how God’s hand was present in every twist and turn of the journey.
