I’m calling it now: Jade Cargill doesn’t dodge the danger. She goes into the Elimination Chamber and defends her title the hard way. No shortcuts. No escape routes. Just six women, steel everywhere, and Jade proving she’s not just a force, but the force. On the men’s side, the Chamber is for number one contendership, and yeah — this one feels locked in. Cody Rhodes is winning this thing. Everything points to it. Momentum, positioning, and that inevitable collision course with Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre that feels less like a match and more like a car crash waiting to happen. While Finn Bálor vs CM Punk feels spicy on paper… even if Finn’s been getting absolutely cooked on Raw lately. Sometimes WWE buries you… and then lets you dig your way out in a cage. And don’t sleep on LA Knight. If there’s a sneaky outside-the-Chamber play here, I could see him crossing paths with someone from The Vision — maybe Bron Breakker. Nothing offensively bad, nothing wildly unforgettable either. The matches were solid, the pacing was fine, and Raw felt steady. But let’s be real — this entire show exists now for one moment, and that moment was the ending. The final segment with Roman Reigns and CM Punk completely flipped the switch. This wasn’t just a promo. This was two men leaning directly into each other, going personal, going uncomfortable, and going straight for the jugular. They didn’t dance around it. They didn’t soften it. They hit below the belt over and over again, and that’s exactly why it worked. This felt raw, real, and emotional in a way wrestling desperately needs more of. Roman didn’t sound like a cartoon villain. Punk didn’t sound like a nostalgia act. They sounded like two egos colliding, two legacies clashing, two guys who genuinely don’t like each other and don’t need a title gimmick to make it interesting. The crowd felt it. You could feel the tension through the screen. This one promo did more for excitement than half a dozen matches combined. It reminded everyone that wrestling doesn’t always need chaos, surprises, or shock returns — sometimes it just needs two great talkers with real conviction and history. By the time Raw went off the air, it didn’t matter how you felt about the rest of the show. The conversation was locked in. Raw tonight was okay. The ending? I didn’t love AJ Styles losing to Gunther in what looks like his retirement match, but emotionally, that moment still hit hard. That said, both the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches did exactly what they’re supposed to do: elevate talent and set the table for WrestleMania.
