Discussed in today's episode: 🌱 The truth about the news & why I dislike it so much 🌱 What to do when you feel overwhelmed by current events 🌱 "Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that"  🌱 The reality of overconsumption of negative media & how that impacts us 🌱 Reminder that there's just as much good in the world as the bad (if not more good), the news just doesn't talk about it because it doesn't sell 🌱 What actually helps counteract the negativity of the world 🌱 Reconnecting to what is in your scope of control & the most impactful ways you can help make the world better 🌱 Why it's important to stay away from generalized assumptions & spreading more anger/negativity in response to current events 🌱 Staying aware of what's happening in the world + knowing your capacity for how much media you can consume whilst maintaining your sense of sanity 🌱 A permission slip to not constantly have to be absorbing horrible news or posting about it in order to prove that you have empathy for others (as 99.9999999% of people do) I really just hope this episode can bring one person a greater sense of peace, and remind us all that the only way to heal our planet is to bring ourselves back to a place of UNITY and LOVE. We all have infinite access to both of these resources, it just takes intentional focus & the energy to pour into both yourself and the world from this place of love. I promise you everything is going to be ok. I really do carry faith in the world at large and trust the greater path that our planet & society is on, and that it will lead us to a better, more unified place than we are now.
