  1. Rebecca Jarvie-Gibbs - A Personal Reflection on the Making of Fine Form and the Lessons of Season One

    12/28/2025

Rebecca Jarvie-Gibbs - A Personal Reflection on the Making of Fine Form and the Lessons of Season One

This year, I’ve had the privilege of sitting with women who were generous, thoughtful and deeply honest about how they’ve redefined success - not in theory, but in the choices they make every day. What they protect. What they pursue. What they let go of. Listening to these stories also invited me to look more closely at my own. So to close out Series One, I’m sharing a personal reflection on how and why Fine Form began, the lessons I’ve learned through these conversations and what creating this project has revealed along the way. In creating Fine Form, I didn’t fully anticipate was how much these ideas would be tested in real time. While I was recording conversations about burnout and sustainable ambition, I was in the midst of a significant chapter in my professional life. My business partner moved overseas to open our agency in a new market. We took on deeply exciting clients - the kind that stretch you creatively and raise the bar. And alongside that, my toddler was growing fast, constantly reminding me what time I wanted to protect. All of it was energising and meaningful. Taken together, though, it created real pressure. Launching a project centred on professional resonance at that exact moment was confronting. I couldn’t speak about these ideas while ignoring them in practice. So Fine Form became more than a conversation I wanted to have; it became a form of personal accountability - pulling me back when old habits crept in and guiding more deliberate choices as life filled up. I want to say a huge thank you to the women women who entrusted me with their stories; to everyone who listened and stayed with the conversation; to Madeline Joannou of Mylk Media, whose care shaped this season; and to my team at Example, who hold me to what Fine Form looks like in real life, every day. I hope this episode gives you a moment to pause and reflect, too. With love and gratitude, Rebecca x Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  2. Naturopath and Pilates Instructor Bianca Wise on Tuning In, Slowing Down and the Everyday Rituals That Help Our Bodies Thrive

Naturopath and Pilates Instructor Bianca Wise on Tuning In, Slowing Down and the Everyday Rituals That Help Our Bodies Thrive

This week's guest is clinical naturopath and Pilates instructor, Bianca Wise. I first came across Bianca at my home away from home, Bodylove in Woollahra (shout-out to Ali - a future Fine Form guest!), and I’ve been a fan ever since. Yes, she has abs of steel, but what really makes her special is her energy - vibrant, grounded, light. In this chat, we explore her journey to becoming a globally recognised Pilates instructor and how she’s managed to grow her influence without losing the personal approach that anchors her. This conversation is full of practical wisdom. Bianca speaks openly about the connection between stress and gut health, the importance of listening to our cycle, and why small, sustainable rituals can transform how we feel day to day. Her perspective blends movement, nutrition and self-care - reminding us that true growth doesn’t come from obsessing over numbers or appearances, but from cultivating kindness toward ourselves and finding peace within. She truly walks her talk, and I loved unpacking the non-negotiables that keep her grounded no matter where she is in the world. And since this chat, I’ve been paying much closer attention to my own cycle and realising how many symptoms I’d normalised or explained away. If you suspect something’s not quite right, consider this a gentle reminder: your body deserves to be listened to. Notice the patterns, write things down, trust what you feel and advocate for your body even when it’s inconvenient or unfamiliar. We’re so quick to minimise our symptoms, to push through, to tell ourselves “it’s fine.” But your body is always giving you information so listen in and look after it. If you’d like to explore further, you can book a naturopathy consultation at balancedbybiancamelas.com or keep an eye out for her next retreat. 3. The Inarra's Courtney McIntosh on Redirection, Self-Expression and the Identity Shift of Motherhood

    11/23/2025

The Inarra's Courtney McIntosh on Redirection, Self-Expression and the Identity Shift of Motherhood

Today’s guest is Courtney McIntosh - founder of The Inarra, a platform redefining the journey of motherhood through style. Courtney has an incredible ability to make women feel seen, confident, and celebrated. It’s no surprise she’s channelled that gift into building a brand that empowers women through one of life’s most vulnerable seasons - pregnancy - and the ever-shifting stages of motherhood that follow. In this conversation, Courtney speaks with honesty about the identity shift she experienced after the birth of her first son, and how those raw, uncertain moments became the foundation for something deeply meaningful. We also dive into a lesson we’re both learning: how to stop taking rejection personally and instead use it as fuel to keep going. A lot has happened since we sat down to record, including the exciting news that Courtney is now pregnant with her third child. Through The Inarra, she’s begun sharing her raw experiences on how she’s approaching pregnancy the third time around, how her style is evolving with each stage, and the small rituals helping her feel strong, grounded and present. Courtney is a true champion of women - and I’m a big champion of hers. We recorded this episode at the beautiful Rainbow Studios in Darlinghurst - a big thank you to Jade and the team for hosting us. 4. Photographer Nikki To on Creating with Depth and Intention, Building with a Co-Founder and Redefining Hustle

Photographer Nikki To on Creating with Depth and Intention, Building with a Co-Founder and Redefining Hustle

This week's guest is Nikki To - food photographer and co-founder of creative content studio, Buffet. I met Nikki over a decade ago, right at the time she was beginning to make a real name for herself in Sydney’s food scene. Even then, her eye, talent and ability to capture a story through an image set her apart. Since then, she has become one of the most influential photographers in Australia’s food and drink industry. And through Buffet - the creative studio she co-founded with writer Sophie McComas - she’s helped shape the brands and narratives of some of the country’s most celebrated restaurants and bars. Nikki and I launched our businesses within months of each other, and over the years we’ve shared many of the same highs, hurdles, and curveballs that come with building something from the ground up. Growing a business is one thing but sustaining a creative partnership requires trust, alignment and deep intention. I loved digging into how Nikki has built that with Soph and what she’s learned along the way. We also became mothers around the same time, and in this conversation we talk about what that season unlocked - the shift in identity, the way ambition reshapes and the clarity it can bring. Nikki speaks with such care and intention about building a business that reflects her values and choosing growth on her own terms. She’s thoughtful, considered and as talented as they come - and I loved every minute of this chat.
