    Marandhu Pona Childhood Memories

    Arattai Pattarai | Episode 2 – Marandhu Pona Childhood Memories Slam books — the original social media for every 90s and early 2000s kid. One book, many colours, endless secrets. We passed it around in class like treasure, even though it was “only for lunch break.” Someone always filled it during maths period. 😅 The pages smelled of crayons and Fevicol. Glitter pens leaked on the corners. Favourite colour: “Blue.” Favourite food: “Maggi.” Dream job: “Pilot or teacher.” 🙈 We stuck bubblegum stickers, drew tiny hearts we never admitted were for our crush, and wrote “Best friend forever” for people we don’t even talk to now. Some friends wrote essays. Some simply wrote: “Same as yours.” 😏 Smiley faces had noses :-) because that was the trend. Crush initials were written… and scratched out immediately. Today, those pages feel like tiny time machines — messy handwriting, honest answers, innocent dreams, and a whole childhood captured in one spiral-bound book. Slam books weren’t just pages. They were our childhood printed in ink. ❤️😭
