Stella remembers the first event after Covid when “to see people’s faces light up when the music came on – it was beautiful!” “Just enough hedonism, escapism, sparkly feathers, sequins to see you through to the next one,” says Gillian. “Anything that’s bothering you, put it one side. It’s where the grown-ups go to play. It’s special. It’s really special.” Amen!
