    EP22 大迫力の打ち上げ花火に感動！！花火大会の思い出〜藤木優子のLife in the USA

    アメリカではもうすぐ７月４日建国２５０周年の合衆国独立記念日を迎えます。ニューヨーク近郊で有名な「メイシーズ花火大会」も今年で５０周年を迎え、今年の花火は規模を拡大して行われます。アメリカと日本の花火大会の思い出をお話します！！番組最後には花火大会の音声をお届け。迫力ある花火の音を聴きながらぜひ、夏の気分を味わってくださいね。 “Majestic fireworks left me in awe!! Memories of the fireworks display” In the United States, we’ll soon be celebrating the 250th anniversary of the country’s founding on July 4th, Independence Day. The famous “Macy’s Fireworks” display near New York City is also marking its 50th anniversary this year, and this year’s fireworks show will be even bigger and better than ever. I’ll be sharing some memories of fireworks displays in both the U.S. and Japan!! At the end of the program, you’ll hear live audio from the fireworks show.     EP21 大聖堂で大興奮！卒業式にみるアメリカの文化〜藤木優子のLife in the USA

    毎年５月下旬から６月初旬にかけてアメリカは高校・大学の卒業式シーズンとなります。今は大学生になった娘もそうしたアメリカの卒業式を経験。カトリック系の高校のため、ニュージャージー州にある有名な大聖堂で行われました。卒業式に着る服装と式の様子を通して私が感じたアメリカの文化について語ります。ぜひ、聴いてくださいね。 “Thrilled by the Cathedral! A Glimpse into American Culture at a Graduation Ceremony” Every year, from late May to early June, it’s graduation season for high schools and colleges in the U.S. My daughter, who is now in college, also experienced one of these American graduation ceremonies(Commencement). Since she attended a Catholic high school, the ceremony was held at a famous cathedral in New Jersey. I’d like to share my thoughts on American culture as seen through the attire worn at the ceremony and the atmosphere of the event. I hope you’ll tune in!

    今年2026年で24回目を迎えた日本最大規模の親子向けブックフェスティバル「上野の森親子ブックフェスタ2026」。毎年５月に上野恩賜公園で２日間にわたって開催されるこの人気イベントに私、藤木優子が行ってきました！！各テントの様子に加え、サイン会のためお越しになった絵本作家　森くま堂さんへのインタビュー、来場者の方へのインタビュー、そして番組最後に特別ゲストとして児童文学作家　工藤純子さんといとうみくさんへのインタビューをご紹介します！！また、工藤純子さんといとうみくさんよりこの番組をお聴きの皆さまにいち早く！！これから発売される新刊情報をお話して頂きました！！絵本・児童書好きの方には必聴！！の回です。ぜひ、お聴きくださいね。  “Japan's Largest Event!     この春、ぜひおすすめしたい新しい絵本をご紹介します!! 児童文学作家　佐々木ひとみさんの初の絵本『なのはないろのわたしのえ』（作：佐々木ひとみ　絵：よしむらめぐ　世界文化社刊）です。物語は、学校のオープンキャンパスで母親と一緒に見た菜の花畑を描いた主人公のくるみが、クラスメイトに絵をからかわれ落ち込んでいるところから始まります。そんな時、養蜂家の老人が彼女の前に現れます。番組では、仙台市青葉区の「ライフスタイル・コンシェルジュ」で2月3日から2月28日まで開催された絵本『なのはないろのわたしのえ』展から、佐々木ひとみさんと仙台市SCSミュージカル研究所の佐藤いろはさん（7）による朗読の一部をお届けします!! ぜひお聴きください。 We're introducing a new picture book we highly recommend this spring!! It’s the first picture book by children’s literature author Hitomi Sasaki: “Nanohana iro no watashi no e” (written by Hitomi Sasaki, illustrated by Megu Yoshimura; Sekai Bunka Sha). The story begins with the main character, Kurumi, feeling down after her classmates tease her about a painting she made of a field of rapeseed flowers she saw with her mother during the school’s open house. Just then, an elderly beekeeper appears before her. On the program, we’ll also feature an excerpt from a reading performed by author Hitomi Sasaki and Iroha Sato (age 7) of the Sendai City SCS Musical Institute, taken from the picture book “Nanohana iro no watashi no e” exhibition held from February 3 to February 28 at “Lifestyle Concierge” in Aoba Ward, Sendai City!!
