    The Purple Pillage Week #4 - 2026

Welcome to the Purple Pillage and week #4. Vikings celebrate being one of 3 undefeated teams following a 15-10 win over Miami. Reichard had another big game kicking for the Vikings, hitting on all 5 field goals, as Kylar Murray found a new favorite target in TJ Hockensen with Justin Jefferson out of the lineup. Murray hit TJ on all 13 of his targets. The defense also played a big part, holding the Dolphins to 10 points. We also preview Sunday's noon matchup against the Saints in New Orleans. We give our predictions and other keys to the game.   Thanks and until next week, Pillage on!

    The Purple Pillage Week #3 - 2026

Welcome to the Purple Pillage and week #3. We discuss the Vikings' 23-16 win over Tampa Bay on Sunday. Justin Jefferson went out early with an ankle injury but the special teams came through to put most of the points on the board. The defense shined once again, as the offense continues to try to get on track.  We also look ahead to the 0-3 Dolphins coming to US Bank stadium this coming Sunday. They will be without their starting running back, Achane. The Vikings are hoping to get Jefferson back and to get the offense going. We discuss other keys to the game, to hopefully get the Vikings to 4-0, as they are an 11.5 point favorite.   Thanks and until next week, Pillage on!

    The Purple Pillage Week #2 - 2026

Welcome to the Purple Pillage and week #2. We take a look back at the Vikings 9-3 win over the Bears in Chicago. We discuss how the Vikings excelled in adverse weather conditions and played relatively mistake free on offense and made some big plays on defense to get the road win. We give our offensive and defensive players of the game. We also take a look ahead, as the Vikings travel to Tampa Bay on Sunday to take on the Bucs. Baker Mayfield at QB and Bucky Irving at RB have led the way on their offense, yet, they are 0-2 on the season and in, what some would say, is a must win already in the season. The Vikings are on the other end of the spectrum, looking to stay undefeated and improve to 3-0. Kyler Murray has passed concussion protocol and has already been named a starter for Sunday, as Carson will fall back to backing him up. We discuss other keys to a Viking victory and give our predictions for the week.   Thanks and until next week, Pillage on!

    The Purple Pillage Week #1 - 2026

Welcome to The Purple Pillage and Week #1. The Vikings open week one with a 39-22 win over Green Bay. They would lose starting QB, Kylar Murray early to a concussion. The Vikings struggled offensively and defensively in the first half, but gained momentum in the 2nd half, behind Wentz and especially Justin Jefferson. Defensively, they were led by Van Ginkel, Cashman and Turner. Up next is a road game in Chicago with a noon kickoff on Sunday. Thanks and until next week, Pillage on!
