Meditation #23: When You Can’t Stop Overthinking

When You Can’t Stop Overthinking If your mind feels busy, restless, or stuck in overthinking, this gentle guided meditation offers a calm place to pause and create some space around your thoughts. If you’re here, your mind may feel busy, restless, or stuck in a loop. Replaying conversations.  Running through scenarios.  Trying to think your way into certainty or relief. This meditation is a gentle place to pause — not to stop your thoughts, but to rest alongside them and create a little space. In this guided meditation, you’re invited to: slow the pace of your inner world notice where your body feels supported let thoughts come and go without needing to follow them Nothing needs to be solved here.  You don’t need to figure anything out.  You don’t need to quiet your mind. You can simply listen. Some women come to this meditation when their thoughts feel relentless.  Others return to it whenever their inner world feels crowded or restless. If this resonates, you may also feel drawn to explore my other meditations. You’re welcome to begin anywhere.  For many women, this meditation opens an awareness that they’re ready for steadier support during moments of mental overwhelm. This meditation is offered as reflection and companionship — not as therapy, medical care, or treatment. A tightness in your chest.  A restless feeling in your body.  A sense that something is wrong, even if nothing obvious is happening. This meditation is a gentle place to pause — not to force yourself to calm down, but to rest with what you’re feeling and allow some space around it. In this guided meditation, you’re invited to: slow the pace of your inner world notice where your body feels supported meet feelings of panic with gentleness instead of urgency Some women come to this meditation once, in a moment of overwhelm. Others return to it whenever their inner world feels loud or unsettled. If this resonates, you may also feel drawn to explore my other meditations.
