    Hurts Struggles, Rivers Returns, & Bowl Season Begins | EP 27

    On the FINAL EPISODE OF THE SEMESTER, Sam & Mike jump into a wild week of football on both the NFL and college side. They open with a quick “Real or Fake” game (bowl names + player names), then break down a rough MNF for the Eagles as the Chargers win 22–19, and Jalen Hurts throws four picks. The defense showed up — the offense didn’t. The guys also react to the shock of the week: Philip Rivers unretiring at 44 to join the Colts. College football bowl matchups are rolling in, including BYU vs Georgia Tech, Iowa vs. Vanderbilt, and Michigan vs. Texas. They close with TNF (Falcons vs. Bucs) and MNF (Steelers vs. Dolphins) previews, complete with player props and weekly locks.     On this week's final episode, Sam and Mike take on 3 separate challenges to start the day off. Mike tests Sam's ball knowledge by giving him statements to guess and NFL player and by testing his knowledge of football rules. Then the guys go head to head in the player guessing game, fastest guess wins. From here the guys look back at TNF, Lions vs Cowboys, which lost them $10 and they look ahead to the weekend slate in the NFL. The guys then take a look at a few NFL news pieces and headlines as well as recap the Coaching movement in College Football.     On today’s episode of The Roles Reversed Podcast, Sam & Mike are back to the regular scheduled program with a loaded post-Thanksgiving edition. MNF and college coaching drama, the guys hit every headline with their trademark mix of actual analysis and absolute chaos. The show kicks off with a quick “Guess the Player” warm-up before diving into MNF: Patriots vs. Giants, where New England rolled through another weak opponent and Jaxson Dart left more questions than answers. The guys debate whether the Pats are legit and if there is legitimacy to Drake Maye as the MVP favorite, as well as what exactly Younghoe Koo was doing on that disastrous kick attempt.
