    BURNT Episode 1- what is this & who am i to talk about it

    This is the first episode on my podcast about burnout. I wanted to give a little backstory on my experiences with burnout and anxiety; and give more insight into what this podcast is. I hope to talk a little bit about everything, and maybe some of it will be helpful or fun for you to listen to? This episode goes over my decade of burnout- from my hometown all the way up to navigating my design career in a new city through a pandemic ! Life is tough and burnout is tough too, but just because things are tough never means that they stop. Maybe we can roll with the punches together? Who knows. Enjoy I guess.

    spoiler alert- i knew lol. ummm yeah this episode is about how our bodies react to stress! Cause they will react even if ur brain has decided to ignore or run from whatever you're stressed about. We are all wired with this silly thing called fight or flight- and we gotta start using that to our advantage besties; your body will thank you i promise. xoxoxo

    This is the first episode I could bring myself to upload in a while- I have so many backed up but I get too anxious to post lol.     BURNT Episode 4- how we deal with things out of our control (we don't)

    TW// this episode has mentions of emotional, physical and sexual abuse. This is me rambling about how I've dealt with some pretty big and small things that were out of my control, I started by talking about COVID which is pretty largely out of all of our control, then I talked about work and my platonic and romantic relationships.  A lot of life is learning to cope with things we cannot change or aren't up to us I think, and sometimes that can work out for the better.

    My comfort media

    Whew this is a long episode isn't it- I figured since I talked about my comfort shows and movies so much on here I'd give you a comprehensive list of stuff that i love to rewatch. A lot of this stuff is not "the best" or even necessarily my favorite pieces of media but they all bring me lots of comfort!! I'm going over tv shows, movies, books, albums, podcasts, and video games- So if you're looking for recommendations or just reminders of fun stuff that exists this is the pod for you.     BURNT Episode 2- space and feeling nested

    Hi besties, this is an episode about feeling burnt out where you're living or with your living space. I've lived in a lot of places and I haven't always felt super comfy in them, but I have some things that help me to feel comfy in whatever space I may be in- I didn't talk about my current house bc I forgot LOL but I am feeling pretty good here, it has taken me many months to but I'm getting there- these things can take time.
