    Happy post-valentines to one and to all! On this episode, we talk about the past week. Feez talks about losing the audio on the last episode, crashing out, starting therapy and dozing off in the club. Oye talks about watching “how to get to heaven from Belfast”, having a good time with friends and swapping valentines gifts with loved ones. This week’s “two truths and a lie” segment was filled with chaos, confusion, fence scaling and overdosing. We discuss someone ranting about being broke to someone they just gifted. We also discuss how people reacted to someone becoming irreligious after so much suffering. Legend has it that Feez is still switching the temperature of her AC and Oye now has her hallways latches!     Is this trauma island?

    A hearty welcome to you from the hosts of the top 1% podcast in the world! Episode 21, just like we promised! On this episode, we do our usual recap of the past week. We talk about horrible customer service (as usual), crashouts and breakdowns (as usualer) and PMS and periods (as usualest). We also talk about how we bestfriended so hard that we got called for an interview with Brags NG and how much fun we had doing that. We get into our “two truths and a lie” segment where we may or may not have discussed some kidnappings, palm slashings and missing 3-year-olds. We get into some pop culture-ish moments of the week, where we discuss power drunk twitter HRs, jealousy in friendships, interactions with domestic staff and the agelong phenomenon of missing pegs and cutlery. Oye shows off her plushies and Feez blames her forgetfulness on Mrs. Mensah. This episode means more to us than we are actually letting on. On the first episode, just like yesterday, we made a joke about recording 21 episodes to be among the top 1% of podcasts in the world. Today, we have indeed done it and our hearts are so full.     Two truths and a lie.

    Hello and welcome if you so please (listen to the episode to get the context for this). On this episode (after so many failed takes), we come clean about how hard recording was. We get into the past week, full of crashing out and PMS symptoms. We talk about the continuing struggles of house hunting, trekking from Ogba to Ibafo and Bridgertonrella. We launch the Pod’s new “two truths and a lie” segment, and you can already guess how chaotic that turned out. Feez warns everyone to be cautioning their parents and Oye confesses to breaking our “no-spend January” pact. As the “glass half full” girlies that we are, we have chosen to look at the numerous takes it took to record this episode as proof of our unwavering commitment to the Pod.     Getting Scammed by a Lagos House Agent.

    Oh, hi there! On this episode, we contemplate recording the entire episode in Yoruba but someone chickened out. We get into the past week, as usual. Feez talks about work coming for her life, accidentally ruining last week’s episode and having to reedit it, getting lost on coastal road (AGAIN)(TWICE), visiting friends and of course, heated rivalry. Oye talks about how her week was filled with clearly insane house agents. She recounts her experience house hunting for friends, how hopes at a decent apartment were crushed in no time and how our friends may have eventually found a decent apartment in the midst of the relentless housing crisis in Lagos.  We also talk about some pop culture moments of the week: Speed’s visit to Nigeria and the ridiculousness that surrounded it, people not leaving room for tact and nuance in conversations and the gorgeous Ayra Star celebrating 5 years in the music industry. Oye promises goody bags to loyal listeners and Feez insists that there is a song called goody bag.  We have a good time throughout the episode and we are honoured to have you share that with us.     Facing homelessness in Lagos.

    Hello, hello! On this episode, we begin bickering as we recount our past week, as usual. We talk about Feez's unfortunate encounter with the police, about getting her heart broken yet again and about her getting her car fixed finally. Oye tells us how she might have a concussion after the best night of her life, her time spent with friends and her decision to get back into fitness. We also bring in our all-time fave, Ore, to get a few things about the housing crisis in Lagos off her chest. Feez gets a new-found appreciation for friendship and Oye is on her way to reclaiming her “Buff Mummy” title. We end the episode with a well-deserved shoutout to some of our faves.     New year, new us (for real, for real).

    We're backkkkk! Happy new year and greetings of all the seasons! On this episode, we spend the whole time recapping our December which turned out to be dettier than we had thought. We talk about raves, concerts, house parties and other events that we attended, with our bodies constantly reminding us how close we are to 30. We talk about all the peace and quiet we enjoyed on our travels to Offa and Ibadan and how returning to Lagos has been a rude shock. In considering our new year resolutions, we realised that we apparently do not dream big enough, so we made some resolutions for you to hold us to. Feez continues to face constant trials and tribulations and Oye takes her rightful place as "Queen of Decembizzy 2025".     Nigerian weddings are not for the weak!

    Welcome to the 15th and final episode of the year!  On this episode, we give you a “life was lifing” special, both in good and bad ways. We kick things off with our usual weekly recap and since Lagos did not rest this week, neither did we. We talk about potholes (Lekki–Epe will hear from us one day), rave opps, and a visit from Feez’s parents. We also talk about airport pick-ups “anything for the boys?” and a Carol service that turned chaotic very quickly. We read and responded to the messages we received, bade you gorgeous people farewell for the year, and apologised about the fan sound that may be here to stay for a while. Feez requests weightloss tips that don't require dieting or working out and Oye talks so gleefully about her wedding of the year. As always, we had the best time chatting and laughing through it all, and we hope you enjoy listening just as much.  We love you and see you next year.
