    In today's episode we cover another section of Gander's life before joining the Ellonist Republic's military. The Republic is constantly under siege from rebel forces. These traitors will stop at nothing to bring down the glorious nation. Knowing this Gander now endeavors to get into the highly sought after A.C.E. program for the government's special forces. During this he meets Mace, who is also aspiring to join the A.C.E. program on Ragash. During this the two form a unique bond that will tie them together as brothers forever. They also have to deal with Jereb, the school bully who wants to prevent anyone except his 'squad' from entraining the program. This chapter expands the lore of the Ellonist Republic while grounding it in a deeply personal story—one of absence, expectation, standard school problems, and the quiet beginnings of something far larger.
