Ep 53 - God’s Grace Is Real—But So Are the Consequences

Send us Fan Mail In today’s episode of Messy But Motivated, we’re having an uncomfortable conversation about what we’re putting our faith in. I’m talking about crystals, “the universe,” and why we can’t expect to hear clearly from God while continuing to look elsewhere for our guidance, protection, peace, and answers. If we say we follow Jesus, He has to be more than an option we turn to when everything else fails. I’m also addressing something I’ve heard from people who feel like I talk more about the consequences of our choices than I do about God’s grace. And here’s the truth: God’s grace is incredible—but grace doesn’t mean our actions have no consequences. There are plenty of people in ministry who will make everything sound comfortable, soften the hard truths, and tell you exactly what you want to hear. I’m not here to butter it up for you. I’m here to point you back to Scripture—even when the truth steps on our toes. This episode is about conviction, obedience, repentance, grace, and remembering who we are actually putting our trust in. If this message challenges you, maybe that’s exactly what it was supposed to do. ❤️‍🔥 Messy But Motivated — because following Jesus isn’t always comfortable, but it is always worth it. Ep 52 - Bonus Episode: When the Enemy Can’t Reach You, He’ll Come for Someone You Love

Send us Fan Mail This bonus episode is one of the most personal I’ve ever recorded. Lately, spiritual warfare hasn’t just been something I’ve been teaching about—it’s something my family has been living through. I share how, when I stood firm in my faith, it felt like the enemy shifted his attack toward my husband, Mike. If you’ve ever watched someone you love struggle while feeling helpless, this episode is for you. I also talk about Perez Hilton and why I believe we often misidentify spiritual battles as something else. When we take our eyes off Jesus, we become vulnerable to the enemy’s lies. But the good news is that Jesus has already won the victory. We’ll dive into what Scripture says about spiritual warfare, why the armor of God is our protection, and why we must remember who fights beside us. The armor God gives us is not fragile—it is strong, steadfast, and sufficient for every battle we face. If you’ve been feeling attacked, discouraged, or exhausted, I pray this episode reminds you that you are not fighting alone. Stand firm. Keep your eyes on Jesus. The battle is real, but so is the victory we have in Christ. Ep 50 - Your Testimony Has Power

Send us Fan Mail In this week’s episode of Messy But Motivated, I’m opening up about some of the spiritual warfare I’ve been walking through lately and why I believe the enemy works so hard to keep us silent. We talk about the incredible importance of sharing your testimony—not because we have it all together, but because God uses our messy stories to point people to Him. Someone out there needs to hear what the Lord has brought you through. I also share why having a strong church community isn’t optional. We were never meant to fight spiritual battles alone, and surrounding yourself with other believers can make all the difference when life gets heavy. This episode also touches on a deeply personal subject: my relationship with my dad. It’s not an easy conversation, but it’s one the Lord has continually placed on my heart to share. We’ll discuss how our earthly fathers can shape the way we view our Heavenly Father—and why God’s love remains perfect, even when our earthly experiences aren’t.
