Shane Gillis SNL Joke: Misogyny or Just Comedy? + My BONUS Parenting Epiphany

Shane Gillis told one joke on SNL. Dan Levy answered with a viral reel. Now half the internet calls it misogyny and the other half calls it comedy. Lolita Keys says where she lands, and why she thinks the real fight is the one we’re ignoring. This week’s hodgepodge episode of What a Fuster Cluck: 🔥 Shane Gillis, Dan Levy & the gym joke: Is it misogyny, or are we policing comedy? Lolita also takes on the double standard she sees in who gets to be “looked at,” and says where she draws the line.👦 The parenting epiphany: A garage door left open, a dishwasher standoff, and the “this is not an emergency” mindset that changed how she talks to her sons.📱 Heads-down kids: Teens crossing a busy road with their eyes glued to their phones, and why she won’t let her son game before school.💫 Gisele Bündchen: The one celebrity Lolita actually finds inspiring.🎬 Michael Douglas: His new memoir, his push for nuclear disarmament, and Lolita’s take on celebrity utopias and gun control. No team, no script, no party line. This is for the independent middle that’s tired of being told which side to pick. 📩 Topic ideas, feedback or fact-checks:  whatafusterclucklk@gmail.com Where do you land on the Shane Gillis joke? Mob Justice vs. Mob Sympathy: Cornell 7 Is Failing All of Us

Everyone has a verdict on the Cornell 7. The case has two mobs and almost no one reading the documents. On this episode of What a Fuster Cluck, I walk through the full timeline of the “Cornell 7” Chi Phi case, from the night of Oct. 19–20, 2024 to the civil lawsuit, the reopened criminal investigation, and why it's exploding now. We look at what Jane Doe alleges, what the seven men named in the lawsuit deny, what Cornell's Title IX panel actually found, and what the texts do and don't show, including the Halloween party disinvite everyone is arguing about. I also look at what the mob reaction has cost both sides, from a wrongly accused Marine's family harassed after the wrong Matthew Ingalls was served, to threats reported by the woman identified as Jane Doe. Then I connect it to the larger conversation about the negative repercussions of the Feminism movement, boys and men crisis, campus culture, and what young people are being taught about consent, empowerment and responsibility. Note: This case is unadjudicated. No criminal charges have been filed, and all seven men named in the civil lawsuit deny wrongdoing. If this episode made you think instead of just react, follow the show, leave a rating or review, and send it to a friend who needs the full story. Keywords: Cornell 7, Cornell Chi Phi lawsuit, Jane Doe Cornell, Cornell fraternity case, Title IX, campus culture, boys and men crisis, due process, culture war podcast. 👇 Where do you land? Lindsay Clancy, RFK Jr., and the Bumper Sticker That Got Me Triggered

I'm back from break, and apparently the world did not pause to wait for me. In this brain-dump episode, I'm ranking every scroll-stopping headline from my summer break — starting with the bumper sticker that made me cringe, "Home birth mama"? Really? We need to talk about why mothers can't stop turning birth plans into a purity test. Then I get into it: the Lindsay Clancy trial and the uncomfortable question nobody in the courtroom wants to sit with — where was the medical system before those three kids died? I'm not excusing what happened. I'm asking why an over-prescribed, under-monitored mom was left to spiral until it was too late. Speaking of medicated and dismissed — RFK Jr. and Dana Bash got into a tiff on live television over vaccines, and I have thoughts on both the message and the messenger. I'm also unpacking why I actually enjoyed watching Tucker Carlson sit across from Hunter Biden — because for two plus hours, two people who are supposed to hate each other just... talked. I confess my e-bike dilemma (I said I didn't want to cave and get one for my son, I bought one anyway, ask me why). I talk about "The Digital Delusion," the book blowing up parent group chats right now, and why it hit different after my conversation with Kim Short about tech creeping into our kids' classrooms. And lastly, I get into the gut-punch of Hayden Panettiere's death — and the brutal, infuriating reality of how hard it is for women to walk away from the people hurting them, even when everyone can see it. Grab a drink. This one's a lot. Topics covered: Lindsay Clancy trial, RFK Jr. vs. Dana Bash CNN interview, Tucker Carlson & Hunter Biden interview, mom-shaming and birth culture, e-bike safety and parenting hypocrisy, "The Digital Delusion" and classroom tech, Hayden Panettiere, abusive relationship cycles, postpartum psychosis and medication over-prescription. UNSTOPPABLE: ONE MOM'S DECADE LONG FIGHT FOR EVERY CHILD IN YOUR SCHOOL DISTRICT

What if one parent could actually be a part of small changes to the system that have a BIG impact? Kim Short did — and she's here to show you how. Most parents feel it: something is wrong in our public schools, but the machine feels too big to fight. Kim Short, co-founder of grassroots advocacy group Three Moms, Volusia County School Forum, and a Volusia County education advocate with over a decade of experience inside the system, walked into a school board meeting in May 2026 armed with research, data, and over a decade of showing up — and discovered the board had already voted before she opened her mouth. That moment is a window into everything wrong with how public education is governed in America right now. In this episode of What a Fuster Cluck, host Lolita Keys sits down with Kim for a conversation that is equal parts exposure, education, and empowerment. Kim breaks down how school boards and superintendents actually divide power under Florida law, what happened to the nearly $190 billion in federal COVID relief funds schools received — and whether any of it reached your child's classroom — and how a Volusia County NDA scandal gave birth to a brand new Florida School Board Members' Bill of Rights that just went into effect July 1, 2026. But this episode isn't about doom. It's about what happens when an ordinary parent refuses to sit down. Kim didn't start as an activist. She started as a mom who heard her schools in her kids' district were cutting art and music. What she found when she started paying attention changed everything — and after more than a decade of advocacy, her fingerprints are on state legislation, local policy fights, and a community of parents who now know how to show up. If you have children in public school — or if you care about the communities those schools anchor — this one will light a fire under you. In this episode: How Florida school boards actually work — and why most parents have no idea who really holds the powerWhat ESSER funds were, where nearly $190 billion in COVID school relief money went, and why the spending window just closedThe Volusia County NDA scandal that sparked a statewide Bill of Rights for school board membersWhat NEOLA policy services are and why one mom stood up to challenge a school board purchaseThe smallest possible way to get involved — starting this week, with the time you already haveWhy fighting for every child is the only way to win for your ownBecause your voice is louder than you think. Kim Short proved it. You can too.
