Charity Sector in 2026 - red or green flag..? WTC LIVE in London

Here it is. Our very first LIVE podcast recording from WTC LIVE! I was delighted to record this episode from Fair Shot Cafe in London with the wonderful Mabinty Esho and Eddie Hartley from Comic Relief. We didn't hold back on our thoughts around the charity sector in 2026...what do you think? If you want to join our next WTC LIVE event in Manchester then you need to get on the guestlist here and be first in line to grab your tickets as soon as they go live! You can connect with us via our Instagram and our website where you can find out more about our community events, Chari-tea Talks and how you can work with Louise. You can also connect with Mabinty Esho here and Eddie Hartley here and Louise Dawtry here This episode was kindly sponsored by Teemill who help charities create products and campaigns that reach new audiences, engage existing communities and raise funds - without buying or holding stock. If you'd like to explore what that could look like for your organisation, email hello@teemill.com and mention Louise from What's the Charitea. Their Head of Charity Partnerships will reach out personally to help you explore ideas and get started. https://teemill.com/blog/guide-to-print-on-demand-charity-t-shirt-fundraising/ Hosted on Acast. What happens when you throw a not-networking event?

Last week we held our very first What’s the Chari-tea? LIVE event in London, and I’m still buzzing from it! Bringing charity people together in real life has been something I’ve wanted to do since starting WTC. But I was determined to create something that felt a little different from your typical networking event. Less awkward small talk, more genuine conversations, laughs and a proper night off with people who just get what it’s like working in charities. In this Voicenote episode, I’m sharing how our first sold-out LIVE event went, some of my favourite moments from the evening and why bringing people together feels more important than ever. I’m also saying a huge thank you to everyone who made it happen, including our brilliant guests Mabinty Esho, Eddie Hartley and Tatiana Ostara, and our lovely supporters Charity People and Few & Far. Oh, and Manchester, we're coming for you...! If you want to be first in line for tickets when they go live click this link to join the waitlist - https://whatsthecharitea.myflodesk.com/c3p3mo3asm Your work matters. And so do you. ❤️ Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

How To Navigate The Charity Career Wobble

Ah the Charity Career Wobble - so common yet so little is it discussed. So I'm spilling the tea on what a Charity Career Wobble is, what it feels like and how to navigate it. And the answer is not always to get a new job. Sometimes it’s a sideways move, a conversation with your manager, redesigning parts of your role, finding new development opportunities or simply giving yourself enough space to work out what you actually want. ☕ This month’s free online Chari-tea Talk is all about the Charity Career Wobble, where we’ll be talking through some of these questions together. You can sign up here - https://whatsthecharitea.myflodesk.com/tm7rnwtemo I’m also opening the waitlist for my Charity Career Reset, a small four-week group programme for charity people who want some proper time, structure and support to get clear on what they want from their career and create a plan for what comes next. Places are very limited so join the waitlist now to learn more and get first access to tickets as soon as they go on sale - https://whatsthecharitea.myflodesk.com/ny3yr4kpbm Hosted on Acast. We need to talk about Papyrus...

A bit of a voice note of an episode but I just needed to get my thoughts out on the situation with the closures of Papyrus (and also Reach Volunteering) and the impact redundancies, restructures and job uncertainty has on so many of us. I'm holding a free Chari-tea Talk specifically for charity people who find themselves facing these issues - you can sign up below: https://whatsthecharitea.myflodesk.com/wnxvym73tb CONNECT WITH US ON INSTAGRAM CONNECT WITH LOUISE ON LINKEDIN Hosted on Acast.
