The Waiting People of the Bible - Joshua & Gideon

Dear Diary, Happy fall, everyone! We are finally here at that time of year! Lately, we have been doing a series on people in the Bible who had seasons of waiting. In today’s episode, we look at examples of waiting in the stories of Gideon and Joshua/the people of Israel. Although they aren't perfect examples of waiting, they offer good models we can follow. Listen to today’s episode to find out how they tell us to wait. Listen to it wherever you get your podcasts. Follow us on Substack and Instagram at a_godly_girls_diary! I think you need to here this...

Dear Diary, Some passages of scripture we don't want to read. Some messages in the Bible we don't want to hear. But God includes these passages in the Bible for a reason. In today’s day and age, there are often many passages in scripture that we forget about, and God wants to remind us all about this particular passage, especially those in a waiting season. In today’s episode, we explore Ecclesiastes 3 and the beautiful reminders God leaves for those in a season of waiting. We will explore three encouragements and how we can implement them in our own waiting. Live today at 8 PM! Listen to it on Apple Podcasts and Spotify! A Godly Girls Diary - The Life and Love of the Redeemer - Isaiah 53 & 54

Dear Diary, Easter has come and gone. The cute, whimsical decorations are put away. The delicious treats are gone, and we are deciding what to do with our leftover candy. The sermons have been preached, and we have forgotten about the resurrection story. But this does not mean that the story is irrelevant. We tend to forget about Christ after this season of resurrection has passed. In today’s episode, we explored the prophecies of God’s redeeming love and what the Redeemer’s love looks like today, drawing on two passages from Isaiah. Be prepared to be overwhelmed with love! Listen to it on Spotify or Apple Podcasts! Live NOW at 7 PM! Thanks for reading A Godly Girl’s Diary!
