    57. Not Having Time for God in Motherhood? Grace, Self-Care & Letting Go of Guilt

Have you ever found yourself longing for a close connection with Jesus, but feeling like there simply isn't enough time or energy? Maybe you've wondered if God is disappointed in you because your quiet time doesn't look the way it used to or "should". Friend, if you've ever carried that guilt, this episode is for you. Today I'm sharing from my own journey of navigating exhaustion, interrupted prayers, and the fear that I wasn't giving God enough. Together, we'll gently uncover three common hurdles that can keep us from intimacy with Jesus during the early years of motherhood and discover the beautiful truth of God's compassionate heart toward weary mamas. We'll also explore practical ways to remain connected with Jesus throughout the day, even in the middle of diapers, dishes, school pickups, and sleepless nights. Because while motherhood may change what time with Jesus looks like, it never changes His love for you or His delight in being with you. I pray this episode reminds you that you don't have to earn God's affection or wait for a less busy season to experience His presence. He is meeting you right here in the beauty, the chaos, and the sacred work of motherhood. Much love, 🤍Naomi If you're longing to bring more peace, connection, and confidence into your parenting, I'd love to invite you into our Listening Hearts facebook community, where we walk this beautiful and stretching journey of motherhood together. 🤍 https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1KYYK268TU/

    55. Sibling Fighting Driving You Crazy? The Mindset Shift That Changed Everything

Are you exhausted by the constant sibling fighting in your home? If you've ever wondered how to stop sibling rivalry or questioned whether you're doing something wrong as a parent, this episode is for you. In today's episode, I'm sharing how Jesus has completely changed the way I view sibling conflict. I used to believe that peaceful parenting meant creating a home where my children rarely argued. But over the years, I've discovered that true peace isn't the absence of conflict—it's bringing the peace of Jesus into the middle of it. We'll talk about why sibling conflict is a normal and healthy part of childhood, what children are actually learning through disagreements, practical ways to reduce unnecessary friction, and how we can move from trying to be referees to becoming loving guides who teach kindness, repair, forgiveness, and teamwork. If you're raising siblings, I hope this conversation encourages you to see those everyday disagreements through a new lens. Rather than trying to eliminate conflict altogether, we can use these moments to help our children build the relationship skills they'll carry into friendships, marriage, church, and their own families someday. You are not failing because your children fight. With God's help, you can lovingly guide them through conflict and teach them how to become peacemakers. I would love to invite you to join my Facebook group and be encouraged by other mamas who get it! You can join HERE. Much Love,  🤍Naomi

    51. Do You Have A Difficult, Strong-Willed, or Highly Sensitive Child? One Shift That Truly Makes a Difference

Have you ever wondered why your child seems to fall apart over the smallest things—like the wrong color bowl, a scratchy tag, brushing teeth, or hearing the word “no”? In this episode, I’m talking about difficult, strong-willed, and highly sensitive children—and the one heart shift that can make such a difference in how we see them and respond to them. We’ll talk about “orchid” children, why some kiddos are naturally more intense and slower to adapt, and how their big reactions are not a sign that you are failing as a mom. I’ll also share how many of the traits we often label negatively in children—stubborn, bossy, defiant, difficult—can actually become beautiful strengths when they are lovingly guided and supported. Most of all, I want to help you move from seeing your child as “giving you a hard time” to seeing that they are having a hard time. Because when we can see the tender heart underneath the difficulty, our own hearts begin to soften too. If you are parenting a child who feels intense, sensitive, strong-willed, or challenging, this episode is here to offer you compassion, hope, and a reminder that you do not have to break their spirit to guide them well. If your heart is longing for more support through a challenging season, I would love to offer you one-on-one coaching (at a discounted price!) Visit: www.listeninghearts.family/gift to learn more. Much Love, 🤍 Naomi
