    Episode 50: Schall We Talk About... Wedding Shenanigans?! (Part 2)

    I'M OFFICIALLY MRS. DR. PIANO MAN!!!  Welcome back to PART 2 of our WEDDING SHENANIGANS! It's time for the BIG DAY!!! And guys, I don't even know where to begin. Our wedding was truly the most magical day of my life. It was everything I dreamed of and somehow even better. But behind all those beautiful wedding photos were some absolutely RIDICULOUS moments. In this episode: • PEOPLE MAGAZINE! How one Instagram DM turned into an exclusive wedding feature, and why I ended up having TWO photographers, TWO videographers, and a content creator capturing every moment. • THE BRIDESMAID TEARS! Before hair and makeup, I gather my four best girlfriends to tell them how much they mean to me. We all cry, hug, and then immediately establish a strict NO MORE CRYING policy because nobody is ruining their makeup! • THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WALK DOWN THE AISLE! My Aunt Debbie plays piano while my best friend Jen and cousin Sammy sing "Bridge Over Troubled Water," a song I've dreamed of walking down the aisle to since I was 18. • THE CEREMONY OF MY DREAMS! Dr. Piano Man and I exchange the most heartfelt vows, surrounded by the people we love most. And Security gives us a moment to look out at all our family and friends who traveled across the world to celebrate with us. And because apparently we can't have a wedding without a little extra drama, we also get into Mama Schall's mysterious swollen eye and Security ending up in the hospital after we return home. But don't worry, he's doing fine! Through all the craziness, the laughter, the tears, and the unexpected moments, I have never felt so much love in my entire life. I am so grateful for our families, our friends, everyone who helped make this wedding happen, and most importantly, my HUSBAND. And just when you think we've covered everything... WE NEED A PART 3!!!     Episode 49 - Schall We Talk about Wedding Shinanigans! Part 1

    I'M MARRIED!!!  Welcome to SEASON 3 of Schall We Talk! We did it. Dr. Piano Man and I are officially husband and wife, and I can honestly say our wedding in Mallorca was one of the most magical experiences of my entire life. But getting to that magical day? OH. MY. GOD. There is SO MUCH to unpack that we're breaking the wedding stories into multiple episodes.  And for Part 1, I am taking you through everything that happened from the moment we landed in Mallorca through the night before the wedding. And guys, I cannot make this stuff up. In this episode: • We arrive in Mallorca with seven suitcases, one wedding gown, five family members and a rental car so enormous we nickname it THE SPACESHIP. • Security becomes best friends with the Mallorcan version of Tony Soprano • We spend FIVE DAYS conducting what can only be described as a scientific investigation into where I can get my wedding-morning iced coffee. • Papa Schall nearly chokes after using approximately 400 times the recommended amount of homemade sea salt, and Security has an unfortunate bedsheet situation that we decide is best left unexplained. • Our welcome party finally arrives, all 80 guests show up practically at once, CIA gives one of the sweetest speeches I've ever heard, and Papa Schall apparently spends the entire wedding week CRYING. • And Mama Schall returns with her motherly advice. I need to say that even with all the craziness, this was truly the best week of my life. Our families were together, our friends traveled across the world to celebrate with us, and I got to marry the most wonderful man.     Episode 47 - Schall We Talk about Security's Date (Throwback Episode 2)

    DID SECURITY GO ON A DATE?! 👀 Before we get into this week's throwback, we have a very important mystery to solve. A woman from the dog park asked Security to get drinks. SHE paid. He walked her home. There was a hug. Security insists it wasn't a date. I have questions. Mama Schall has thoughts. And apparently so do all of us. Once we settle that extremely important matter, we're going back to one of my FAVORITE Schall We Talk episodes ever. One night I couldn't sleep. It was after 3 AM, my anxiety was running wild, and instead of scrolling on my phone, I decided to sneak into the studio and attempt to record an episode BY MYSELF. I didn't even know if I had actually pressed record. In this throwback episode: • I get vulnerable about anxiety, my career, constantly worrying about what's next, and forgetting to appreciate what's happening right in front of me • We turn the middle of the night into a sleepover and read some absolutely INSANE Reddit stories involving wedding dresses, secret wives and children, stolen furniture, fake proposals and DNA tests gone VERY wrong • Dr. Piano Man wakes up, discovers his fiancée secretly recording a podcast in the middle of the night and, instead of telling me to come back to bed, SITS DOWN AND JOINS ME This episode started because I couldn't sleep and had absolutely no plan. And somehow it became one of the sweetest, funniest and most vulnerable episodes we've ever done. Which is basically Schall We Talk in a nutshell.     Episode 46 - Schall We Talk about The Newlywed Game (Throwback Episode 1)

    We're officially THREE WEEKS away from leaving for Mallorca... and I'm starting to panic.  There is SO much left to do before the wedding that for the next couple of weeks, we're taking a little trip back through some of our favorite Schall We Talk episodes. And since this weekend is my TWO-YEAR anniversary with Dr. Piano Man, there couldn't be a better episode to bring back...     Episode 45 - Schall We Talk about Getting Married....Legally

    SURPRISE... WE GOT MARRIED!!!  Well... legally. Last Thursday, while you were watching me give questionable life advice as "Dear Robyn," Dr. Piano Man and I were secretly at City Hall getting MARRIED. We didn't tell our friends. We didn't tell the internet. We barely managed to keep the secret ourselves. And then just a few days later, we headed to Boston where I got to reveal everything ON STAGE in front of hundreds of you... including two of my best friends who had absolutely no idea. So yeah... we have A LOT to talk about. In this episode: • I explain why Dr. Piano Man and I decided to secretly get legally married before our Mallorca wedding and why we only brought Mama Schall, Papa Schall and Security • Less than 24 hours before getting married, my wedding outfit was a DISASTER, my shoe guy and I went to war, I had a complete meltdown, and Security told me my original white suit made me look like I was about to pull a rabbit out of a hat • We relive the Bachelorette Party Comedy Show, the incredible audience, the cannoli strippers, and the moment I finally revealed onstage that the "bachelorette" was already legally MARRIED This entire week was one of those moments in life I know I'll remember forever. The courthouse was intimate, emotional, completely stress-free and filled with so much love.     Episode 44 - Schall We Talk about Becoming the Next Dear Abby

    Dear Abby retired... so naturally, I think I should take over. Here's the crazy part: BEFORE I knew she was retiring, I told Security I wanted to do an episode where he finds real Dear Abby letters, I give my advice without knowing what she said, and then we compare our answers to see if I have what it takes to become an advice columnist. And for possibly the first time in Schall We Talk history... Security actually did his homework. He showed up with nine sealed envelopes containing real Dear Abby problems spanning DECADES, and I had absolutely no idea what was inside. In this episode: • I weigh the pros and cons on whether I should head to Florida for the shuttle launch • I give my advice, we open each envelope to reveal what Dear Abby actually said, and somehow... I keep getting them RIGHT • Finally, we put Mama Schall to the test to see if I can predict her motherly advice as well as I predicted Dear Abby's Move over, Dear Abby.     Episode 43 - Schall We Talk about Putting Your Foot In Your Mouth

    Have you ever said something and IMMEDIATELY wished you could suck the words back into your mouth? That's basically this entire episode. We had absolutely no idea what we were going to talk about this week, so five minutes before recording we opened the phone lines and asked you guys to tell us your most embarrassing "I can't believe I just said that" moments. And somehow... it worked. In this episode: • We realize that while Security and I couldn't think of many times WE put our feet in our mouths, we could think of an alarming number of times our dad did • I relive the first date where I spent the entire night calling a man "Bobby"... only to discover he had actually asked me to call him "Papi" • We read your most painfully awkward stories, including accidentally texting your boss, sending VERY personal messages to the wrong person, and a home improvement company accidentally advertising that they "sell widows" • Mama Schall gives possibly her best motherly advice yet! This episode had no plan, no preparation, and at one point a microphone literally broke... so basically, it's exactly what Schall We Talk was meant to be.
