    Schall We Talk Episode 25 - Cabin in the Woods: Nightfall Edition

    This one is a scarrrrrrryyyyy one in the best way. Part 2 of Security's under-$80 Airbnb is here!!!  So, we did not do the smart thing and leave before dark. No. We stayed in the creepy little cabin/shed/wooden box in the middle of the woods and filmed a spooky nighttime episode instead. Naturally. In this episode we talk:  Why this episode exists in the first place: an Airbnb challenge that got wildly out of hand The horrifying realization that our “cabin” was basically a wooden shed in the woods  Our growing fear of bears, serial killers, ghosts, spiders, coyotes, wolves, and literally every sound outside  My Ouija board story and why I will never mess with spirits again  The ghost story from our childhood house where footsteps downstairs were just… a normal thing  The absolutely terrifying Ohio Airbnb where we heard a woman screaming in the distance all night  The D.C.     Schall We Talk Episode 22 - Advice, Opinions, and Absolute Chaos

    Okay, this one is a little unhinged in the best way. Part of this episode was filmed in the past, part was filmed in the future, and somehow Security and I still ended up doing what we do best: giving advice we may or may not be qualified to give.  In this episode we talk: Why this episode is confusing on YouTube: past Robyn is in a baseball cap and long dark hair and future Robyn in a jean jacket and short brown hair. I give Security advice about a friend group where everyone talks badly about one person and he’s stuck in the middle Security giving me advice about how to deal with someone who constantly messes up websites, flyers, cameras, and socks with holes in them and happens to be your brother. The official calendar launch and how my mother bought TEN of them immediately. Our billion-dollar Shark Tank idea: underwear with my butt painting printed on the butt. The actual advice segment: Security and I answer relationship and life questions separately to see who gives better advice. Love bombing vs real connection, bridesmaid budget drama, getting iced out at work after a promotion, and the universal truth that some men simply need to be dumped.     Schall We Talk Episode 21 - Love Is Blind… or Love Is Blinding?

    Okay this week’s episode starts off chaotic (as usual) because we tried to open by talking about “blind people” and immediately realized… let’s pick out words better. What we meant was: Love Is Blind, and how love can make you ignore red flags the size of Times Square. We get into my full rant on this season (Pilates guy, period guy, and why some of these men should not be allowed near a Netflix casting form)… and then we read some of your real-life dating disaster submissions from the Schall We Talk website that made us both want to crawl under the table. In this episode we talk: The one and only time it’s acceptable to “order for the table” (and why most people still do it wrong) First date money rules: who pays, when you offer, and why Venmo requests are a no on first dates. Love Is Blind: why go on a show with that title if you’re going to keep announcing your “type” every 12 minutes The infamous Pilot story (bus change included… yes, it’s worse than you remember) Your bad date story: the “serious foodie” who ordered for you… and then Venmo’d you $47.32 with a smiley face And we close out with Mama Schall’s Motherly Advice of the week: if a date starts going sideways, have an exit plan and never leave your drink unattended.
