The Bread We’re Really Hungry For | John 6 | Revd Tom Watts

Most of us feel two hungers: the surface hunger for comfort, ease, pleasure, and control — and the far deeper hunger beneath it. In this sermon on John 6, Tom Watts shows how Jesus exposes our obsession with “food that spoils” and reveals Himself as the Bread of Life — the only One who can satisfy our deepest needs, sustain us to the end, and give life beyond death. 💬 “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry.” — John 6:35 Tom unpacks what it means to feed on Christ by faith, how the miracle of manna pointed forward to Jesus, and why we so often settle for “the van of death” when the feast of eternal life is offered to us freely.
