Stay In Your Lane Bro! Stop Trying to Do God’s Part

Why You’re So Tired: Stop Trying to Do God’s Part What if the reason you’re exhausted isn’t because you’re doing too little, but because you’re carrying things God never asked you to carry? In this solo episode of the Rock Sermon Podcast, Pastor Rob goes deeper into one thought from Sunday’s message: “Some of us are exhausted because we’re trying to do our part and God’s part.” We’ll talk about the difference between responsibility and control, how to know what actually belongs in your hands, and why faithfulness doesn’t mean forcing an outcome. Paul said: “I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.”1 Corinthians 3:6 Your job is to obey, plant, water, build, and stay faithful. God’s job is to bring the increase. In this episode: How responsibility can quietly turn into control Why some of us are carrying too many “plates” The difference between doing your part and trying to guarantee the outcome How this applies to marriage, parenting, ministry, prayer, and leadership Why not every good opportunity is your assignment A practical prayer for releasing what belongs to God If you’re tired from trying to fix everybody, control everything, or make things happen in your own strength, this episode is for you. Be faithful with what God gave you. Release what He didn’t. 🎙️ Rock Sermon PodcastChrist The Rock ChurchFall River, Massachusetts #RockSermonPodcast #Faithfulness #TrustGod #ChristianPodcast #PastorRob #LetGoAndTrustGod #ChristianEncouragement #DoYourPart #GodsPart

When God Hasn’t Answered Yet | Trusting God in Seasons of Waiting

Show Notes What do you do when God hasn’t said no, but He hasn’t answered yet either? In this episode of the Rock Sermon Podcast, Pastor Rob talks honestly about the difficult space between prayer and breakthrough. Waiting can test our faith, expose our fears, and tempt us to believe that nothing is happening. But quiet doesn’t mean God is absent. Drawing from this week’s The King Is Coming Bible study and the call to have an “established heart,” Pastor Rob shares fresh encouragement for anyone who feels tired, disappointed, or stuck in a season that’s lasting longer than expected. We’ll talk about: Why waiting isn’t necessarily wasted timeHow ordinary faithfulness can build deep spiritual rootsWhy we don’t always need a “new word” from GodWhat to do when nothing seems to be changingWhy being tired doesn’t mean you’ve lost your faithHow to tell the difference between waiting on God and being afraid to make a decisionPastor Rob also opens the Pastor’s Inbox to answer two practical questions: How do I know if I’m waiting on God or just afraid to make a decision? If you’re in a waiting season today, this episode is for you. You haven’t been forgotten. Quiet doesn’t mean absent. Delay doesn’t mean God has stopped caring. Keep doing the next faithful thing. Seeing the People Jesus Sees | Compassion, Missions & the Least of These

What if the people we overlook are the very people Jesus is asking us to see? In this episode of The Rock Sermon Podcast, Pastor Rob takes a second look at a powerful message shared at Christ The Rock Church by missionaries Jeremy and Jamie Fulton. After serving in Hungary and throughout Southeast Europe, the Fultons shared stories of ministry among the Roma people and challenged the church from Matthew 25 to recognize Christ in "the least of these." But this conversation isn't only about missions overseas. Who are we overlooking in our own neighborhoods, workplaces, churches, and communities? Pastor Rob reflects on the way Jesus consistently noticed people others ignored and asks a simple but challenging question: Do we really see people the way Jesus sees them? We'll talk about compassion that moves beyond feelings, faith that becomes action, and the reality that missions doesn't always require a passport. Sometimes it begins with noticing the person God has already placed in front of us. Scriptures referenced:Matthew 25:31–46Luke 4:18–19James 2:14–171 John 3:16–182 Corinthians 5:20 🌍 Connect with Jeremy & Jamie Fulton and follow their missionary journey:https://www.facebook.com/jeremyandjamieworld We're grateful for the Fulton family, their heart for missions, and their willingness to go wherever God leads them. If this episode encourages you, share it with someone and ask God this week: "Lord, who have I stopped seeing?"
